Getting a Mental/Emotional Grip

Overcoming End of the Age Internal Turmoil  By Charles Pretlow 04/01/2019 stress-fatique

“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of stress” (2 Timothy 3:1 RSV).

How is your mental and emotional stability? As a believer, are you suffering from LDSF?

With so many mental/emotional maladies, I decided to add one more— Last Days Stress Fatigue.

Most Christians don’t realize how fatigued they really are. Though they may seem energetic and hopeful, primarily this is because they have been taught to pretend away the reality of last days stressors. Unfortunately, that just creates is a superficial false peace.

The passive zombie like effects working on most Christians today are about to take a terrible toll. Most believers are asleep, unprepared, and distracted from hearing God’s call to wake up and get ready.

A humble, godly fear while trusting and not fretting will bring the joy of the Lord and His peace amid turmoil. However, few allow Christ to show them how they are truly bogged down with the cares of this life. Already, Christians are beginning to lose their grip on emotional and mental stability.

Jesus is saying to the us in this moment of time: “But watch at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that will take place, and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke 21:36).

You can count on these times of stress to increase. In fact, Christ also said of the time that is now approaching rapidly: And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nations in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves,  men fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken” (Luke 21:25-26).

Many are suppressing the stressor and ignoring the signs, and those who don’t have a proper grip on all the mounting end-time stress, a last days stress fatigue will reach a breaking point, and it won’t be pretty.

Unbelievers and unprepared Christians alike will be swallowed up in emotional and mental anguish and hysteria.  Many on-fire Christians are about to crumble in faith from the mounting fears and threatening troubles, because they were not warned and taught on how to prepare and how to endure to the end.

God is going to use these times of increasing stress to test the hearts of millions of believers. For those who played church, ignored warnings such as this warning and the prophesies of Christ will likely find themselves numbered among the foolish Christians locked out of the coming kingdom of God.

Jesus foretold of this coming hour, “But he who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:13).

Give God Permission to Bring Fire into Your Life

Behold, Christ is knocking on the door of the hearts of millions of believers. Now is the time to buy from Christ security and protection by allowing his hand of discipline to show us what is lacking.

Christ is saying to his church in America:

“Therefore I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may be rich, and white garments to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nakedness from being seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see.  Those whom I love, I reprove and chasten; so be zealous and repent.  Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.  He who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I myself conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches'” (Revelation 3:18-22).
