As it was in the Days of Lot

Sodomite assault on God’s People is Ever Increasing! By Charles Pretlow 04/18/2019

But they said, ‘Stand back!’ And they said, ‘This fellow came to sojourn, and he would play the judge! Now we will deal worse with you than with them.’ Then they pressed hard against the man Lot, and drew near to break the door. But the men put forth their hands and brought Lot into the house to them, and shut the door. And they struck with blindness the men who were at the door of the house, both small and great, so that they wearied themselves groping for the door” (Genesis 19:9-11).

Jesus warned of a major red flag warning that the end-of-this-age is very near is:  “Likewise as it was in the days of Lot — they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built,  but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom fire and sulphur rained from heaven and destroyed them all—so will it be on the day when the Son of man is revealed” (Luke 17:28-30).

There is a law being proposed in the House of Representatives, H.R. 5 that is called the Equality Act. The following is a brief overview on how this law if passed will target Christians in every area of life, including church, work and our personal space.

  • Churches would be forced to host same-sex ceremonies.
  • Churches will lose tax-exempt status for noncompliance.
  • Colleges will lose accreditation for noncompliance.
  • Noncompliant colleges will be ineligible to receive student loans, causing most religious schools to compromise their core mission or close.
  • If churches or religious organizations take overnight trips, including sports or mission trips, they cannot segregate rooms by biological gender.
  • Biological men will have access to bathrooms, showers, and nursing-mother rooms at any time, and stay as long as they please.
  • Churches would be forced to hire staff involved in LGBT conduct, even positions of authority in affiliated daycare classes and give them complete access to all children in the restrooms.
  • Cross-dressers could demand that they be greeters, ushers, Sunday School teachers, and more.
  • Even the smallest slight would give someone the legal right to sue the church. For example, if a person assumed they were turned down for a staff position because of a LGBT lifestyle, they could sue the church for damages, even if that was not the reason they were denied the job!

If H.R. 5 passes, it will take away our religious freedom and right to say to no to the sexually perverse from coming right into our places of worship, in our Christians schools and child day cares, and come right into personal space in public. This defiling agenda invaded the homes of millions of Christians through TV, cable, and internet, just as Lot and his family witnessed. (“By what that righteous man saw and heard as he lived among them, he was vexed in his righteous soul day after day with their lawless deeds” 2 Peter 2:8)

The Christian opposition (most in self-righteous finger pointing), in their stance against the LGBT agenda through these many years has done nothing, other than ignite a backlash against true Christians.

Christians are at a threshold of having their legal right to say no taken away, just as Lot had no civil rights or legal recourse to stop the homosexual mob demanding to sexually assault Lot’s angelic quests. As we see in the passage I quoted from Genesis, when Lot pleaded with the mob to stop their evil assault, they threatened Lot saying, “Now we will deal worse with you than with them.”

The LBGT lobby is on the verge gaining legal authority to pound on our very doors and barge into our personal lives, and enter our fellowship, our places of business and work to touch, defile and blaspheme.

In 2004 we published our first book entitled the Horsemen Cometh, Racing Towards the Midnight Cry, now in its third edition. Back then we saw this coming landslide of the LGBT assault upon Christian freedoms. In the following excerpt I predicted what Christians would be soon facing, and here we are now.

What I saw and wrote was the increase of persecution and hate-filled madness, which is now boiling over, much like what Lot faced in Sodom. This is a major sign that Christ instructed true believers to watch for and brace against as the end-of-this-age races to its troubling climax.

This excerpt is from chapter 5, titled, The Self-Righteous Are Fighting A Losing Battle and in the section titled, The Power of The Wicked Will Increase:

Soon, much lawlessness and evil will be legal in this nation. During this time, Christians must endure and trust their souls to a faithful Creator. (See 1 Peter 4:19.)

The Mayor of San Francisco openly defied state laws by granting thousands of homosexual and lesbian marriages, performing ceremonies at city hall in celebrating Saint Valentine’s Day, 2004. The State of Massachusetts is also grappling with this Sodomite issue. Yes, we will see more and more vile practices become legal. More Janet Jackson-type shocking exposures will become the norm, as if it were a contest for entertainers to push the moral limits.

Until now, society and Christians had the choice whether or not to carry on a sinful lifestyle and expose one’s self to immorality. We can go to an adult bookstore secretly; we can access pornography on the Internet or watch X-rated videos in the privacy of our home. Christians can participate in all of this secretly and still act like a saint on Sunday and Wednesday. The temptations have always been there, but soon we will not have a choice. Filth and perversion will knock at our doors, demanding participation, just as it was in the days of Lot!

The civil government of Sodom and Gomorrah sanctioned the attempted assault of the two men (angels) sent by the Lord to warn Lot. Evil men knocked on Lot’s door, demanding that Lot’s guests come out to them so they could sexually assault them. The laws of the city did not protect Lot or his guests. Lot could not call on the city for any legal or police protection. The wicked were within their rights!

The only way Lot and his family received protection and deliverance was by direct intervention from God. “Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passions and despise authority” (2 Peter 2:9-10).

Today, evil men and women are bold and willful, having no fear to revile and assault others. Society is regressing to animalistic behavior and reveling in broad daylight.

Increasingly, new laws make way for lewd and obscene public behavior. This activity is looked upon as a Constitutional freedom, freedom of speech and expression, which will open doors to market perverse lifestyles and enlist new recruits. Soon public nudity will gain legality in certain places in our nation, as different levels of government increasingly license lewd conduct in the name of freedom of speech and freedom of expression.

Christians everywhere are hoping and praying for the restoration of morality, but the church must turn to God and clean house if any true change in society is to take place.

The doctrines of demons that many Christians have embraced concerning spiritual warfare and protection under God’s grace will be like cardboard walls against a hurricane! The Satanic power that evil people will obtain can only be withstood by the pure saint who truly has Christ formed within them.

I have outlined a few doctrines that Satan has gotten many Christians to practice. If you believe these lies, it is time for you to renounce these superstitious faithless teachings for what they are and have the real armor of God put on you.

Evil will demonstrate its power arrogantly and the weak, selfish, undisciplined Christian will not have any strength or protection against this onslaught. Many of these deceived Christians will wonder what happened and try to find answers. They will question their phony and weak minister or pastor and the old pat answers will be seen for what they are: whitewashed lies. In dismay, many of these spiritually wounded Christians will find help from the righteous remnant that God has trained to minister during this coming dark hour. They will have the answers and the anointing of the true Christ to help others begin the cleansing work of the Holy Spirit and stand victoriously.

As for the rest, they will wander in a spiritual wasteland, groping in darkness, looking for an easy way out. Satan will deceive them even more. Christians who hate reproof and correction will find false safety and false peace. These false Christians will become part of the false church. They are the foolish maidens about whom Jesus prophesied concerning the end of the age. End of excerpt.

Get a Grip and Remember Lot’s Wife

In my last blog I shared that great stress will continue to mount and come upon Christians. Thus, it is the time to get a mental and emotional grip by strengthening our faith concerning all that is now taking place. As we see Christ’s end-of-the-age warnings come to pass, we must wake up, raise our heads and look forward to receiving the coming Christ and the physical coming of the kingdom of God. We can’t raise our heads in an unfaltering manner if we do not take our eyes off trying to save and restore America. We must prepare to endure to the end of this coming trouble and then be rescued.

Redemption is drawing near for the righteous in Christ, who are ready. “Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:28). “But watch at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that will take place, and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke 21:36).

An important aspect of strengthening our faith is walking in purity of heart and true holiness.

The Apostle Paul admonishes us to: “Cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, and make holiness perfect in the fear of God” (2 Corinthians 7:1). If we still harbor past issues and secret heart defilements, sooner than later we can expect Satan to assault us with his evil people, in many cases, the attacks will be relentless.

And if we try to fight off these personal assaults in the power of our flesh, we can expect a beating. This will be due to our own defiling issues of heart and spirit that weakens our armor in Christ.

Many are held spellbound by the spiritual defiling powers of the wicked, just like Lot and his wife: “As morning dawned, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be swept away in the punishment of the city.” But he lingered. So the men seized him and his wife and his two daughters by the hand, the LORD being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city” (Genesis 19:15-16).

When evil is directed at us, and we still have hidden defilements within our heart and spirit, we will be vexed to the core of our being and linger in a spellbound trance. We must walk in strength of faith through the cleansing discipline of the Lord that we may escape and be rescued from this coming onslaught of evil.

The wicked will come against us in the same manner as they did against Lot and his wife: “And if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the licentiousness of the wicked (for by what that righteous man saw and heard as he lived among them, he was vexed in his righteous soul day after day with their lawless deeds), then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment” (2 Peter 2:7-9 RSV).

Lot was rescued, however his wife had issues still within her heart and spirit that led her to disobey and look back. Jesus warned using Lot’s wife as example of what to expect: “So will it be on the day when the Son of man is revealed. On that day, let him who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away; and likewise let him who is in the field not turn back. Remember Lot’s wife” (Luke 17:30-32).

Ask Christ to show you what is hidden within your heart and spirit that grips you and causes you to linger—those things that may very easily cause you to look back and be left behind and locked out of eternity.

Let God discipline you in order to break the spell of those things that hold you captive to the love of this world and the mesmerizing power of the wicked. Allow God to reveal to you not only the defilements within you that you can’t see, but also the issues and defilements that you don’t want to see.

Have You Been Taught to Avoid the Discipline of the Lord?

The discipline of the Lord is the only way to obtain God’s grace and walk in his holiness. For those Christians who are taught to avoid the discipline of the Lord, they will find themselves at great risk on being left behind. Many will find that they never grew up into salvation to become a child of God:

“If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it” (Hebrews 12:8-11).

A Final Note: Many have been encouraged by my book mentioned in this article. If you have not obtained a copy of, The Horsemen Cometh Racing towards the midnight cry, we have made it available in PDF format to be downloaded so it can be easily read on your computer. Here is the path to our online bookstore for order the complete book. To order the physical book and have it mailed to you, here is our order link.

Not only is our ministry offered to equip the saints for work of ministry, but also to assist sincere believers to grow up into Christ and no longer be deceived by the many false teachings, by the many wily wolves in sheep clothing. If you are confused about true leadership and their mission as bondservants of Christ, then study the following:

“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers,  to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,  until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,  so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes” (Ephesians 4:11-14).

If our ministry has been a blessing to you, then please consider supporting this work.

Getting a Mental/Emotional Grip

Overcoming End of the Age Internal Turmoil  By Charles Pretlow 04/01/2019 stress-fatique

“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of stress” (2 Timothy 3:1 RSV).

How is your mental and emotional stability? As a believer, are you suffering from LDSF?

With so many mental/emotional maladies, I decided to add one more— Last Days Stress Fatigue.

Most Christians don’t realize how fatigued they really are. Though they may seem energetic and hopeful, primarily this is because they have been taught to pretend away the reality of last days stressors. Unfortunately, that just creates is a superficial false peace.

The passive zombie like effects working on most Christians today are about to take a terrible toll. Most believers are asleep, unprepared, and distracted from hearing God’s call to wake up and get ready.

A humble, godly fear while trusting and not fretting will bring the joy of the Lord and His peace amid turmoil. However, few allow Christ to show them how they are truly bogged down with the cares of this life. Already, Christians are beginning to lose their grip on emotional and mental stability.

Jesus is saying to the us in this moment of time: “But watch at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that will take place, and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke 21:36).

You can count on these times of stress to increase. In fact, Christ also said of the time that is now approaching rapidly: And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nations in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves,  men fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken” (Luke 21:25-26).

Many are suppressing the stressor and ignoring the signs, and those who don’t have a proper grip on all the mounting end-time stress, a last days stress fatigue will reach a breaking point, and it won’t be pretty.

Unbelievers and unprepared Christians alike will be swallowed up in emotional and mental anguish and hysteria.  Many on-fire Christians are about to crumble in faith from the mounting fears and threatening troubles, because they were not warned and taught on how to prepare and how to endure to the end.

God is going to use these times of increasing stress to test the hearts of millions of believers. For those who played church, ignored warnings such as this warning and the prophesies of Christ will likely find themselves numbered among the foolish Christians locked out of the coming kingdom of God.

Jesus foretold of this coming hour, “But he who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:13).

Give God Permission to Bring Fire into Your Life

Behold, Christ is knocking on the door of the hearts of millions of believers. Now is the time to buy from Christ security and protection by allowing his hand of discipline to show us what is lacking.

Christ is saying to his church in America:

“Therefore I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may be rich, and white garments to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nakedness from being seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see.  Those whom I love, I reprove and chasten; so be zealous and repent.  Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.  He who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I myself conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches'” (Revelation 3:18-22).

Weeds in the Kingdom of Christ

Uncovering Evil Strewn Amongst the Wheat    By Charles Pretlow 02/26/2019

In his teachings, Christ made clear the dangers Christians will face at the end-of-this-age. One very import warning that is often ignored and misunderstood is found in the Parable of the Weeds. (Matthew 13:24-30; 36-43.)

Few in leadership today warn of the evil implanted by Satan throughout the world, in family, and in fellowship. In his parable, Christ is not decrying the wicked hooligan and evil criminal, but rather evil that comes disguised as good.

For so long, the most insidious evil has appeared as a good person. Unfortunately, seldom do sincere Christians detect the presence of a son or daughter of the devil: “The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil” (Matthew 13:38-39).

In this parable, Christ teaches us that evil people will look just like a good-hearted Christian (to the untrained eye, the darnel weed and wheat look identical before they mature). There has been such a diluting of Christ’s teachings over the last several generations by leadership, that the term “evil person” or an “evil false-believer,” when expressed, does not properly register in understanding or instill proper threat awareness.

Jesus used the darnel weed as his example, which is commonly known as tares. The darnel weed is a toxic noxious plant that will cause severe symptoms when ingested if mistaken as wheat. In some cases, this toxic plant can cause death.

As these last days race to their end, few Christians can discern a true believer from a hypocritical imposture. The Apostle Paul wrote: “Evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13).

Be honest, how often have you heard a solid exhortation or teaching on evil hidden in society, in family or in fellowship? Not much I dare say!

God’s people are about to be shocked into reality, as the good-evil continues to mature and become very troublesome. Already, God’s angels are exposing hidden evils, as priests, pastors, elders, and volunteers are thrust into the spotlight as molesters of children. Famous Christian leaders, and mega church leaders continue to be big news items, as more fall into public disgrace.

God is removing the veil over the eyes of all, exposing the weeds strewn throughout Christianity. Even still, evil continues to grow in an arrogant mindset that mocks God, as if God does not see the motives and sins of an evil unbelieving heart.

Yet there is another veiled-in-decency evil that is ever growing and attacking others in everyday encounters.

This evil causes great harm in family, work, and fellowship—in every level of our culture, and few believers discern this last day’s work of Satan. This evil has been with us all along, it is like the pharisaical evil that succeeded in crucifying Christ—but is no longer an isolated anomaly, but is now widespread.

Good-evil lives and grows side by side with sincere but naïve believers. The good-evil does not appear instantly as evil, but matures through the years. Ever wonder why Jesus allowed a weed like Judas to stick around? “But there are some of you who do not believe. (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.)” (John 6:64).

Jesus identified Judas as a devil from the beginning, Did I not choose you, the Twelve? And yet one of you is a devil” (John 6:70).

Right up until the end, Christ’s disciples were stupefied as to what Judas was all about. That ended when they witnessed Judas betray Jesus with a kiss. Stop and think of the shock the other disciples received when Satan’s good-evil implant betrayed Jesus and caused the disciples to hide for their lives.

God’s plan for allowing Judas to stick around all through those years of Christ’s ministry has many aspects. One of the more important aspects was to teach and train the remaining eleven apostles (and others that follow) in what I call Christ’s “Judas Training Program.”

We see how effective this training was when Peter heard through the Holy Spirit that Ananias was a weed sent by the devil to be implanted amongst the wheat: “But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?” (Acts 5:3).

The background for this evil act started when a believer named Joseph sold some property and laid the proceeds at the Apostles feet. Word got out about how these funds helped needy believers. Ananias and his wife heard of this contribution, and how everyone appreciated Joseph’s financial help. This couple (Ananias and Sapphira) decided to sell a piece property and give the money to the Apostles as well, however they conspired to keep a portion of the money back for their own use, and decided to tell Peter that they, like Joseph, gave all the proceeds from the sale to the church.

Peter knew how important it was to the Holy Spirit that both Ananias with his wife Sapphira be stopped cold from entering the fellowship of the new church as liars and deceivers—to gain recognition and notoriety as good-hearted saints. (To find out what happened to these two false Christians, read Acts 5:1-11.)

Where are today’s leaders like Peter, who are trained to discern evil weeds implanted amongst God’s people? Every true follower of Christ must learn to hear from the Holy Spirit correctly to expose evil and its harmful threat. Instead, it is common for evil to bring cart loads of money into fellowship, and have leadership pave evil’s way into notoriety, hold prominent positions in fellowship, and subtly receive the moniker of sainthood.

Satan’s Use of His Noxious Weeds in the Last Days

Spiritually Energizing his Fifth-Column Implanted within the Kingdom of Christ

In addition to the extraordinary rise of false teachers and false prophets in these last days, there comes a different kind of satanic war upon the saints. There is now an extreme threat by everyday so-called Christians who appear righteous and good but are in truth living lies that are naturally toxic.

Their inner nature is a total lie. These imposters are like the unbelieving Pharisees who naturally lived a lie like their father the devil: “You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44).

Over the last fifty years, the rise of false teachings has allowed Satan to universally salt the ranks of fellowships and congregations with his evil servants. A mass infiltration of weeds has grown amongst the wheat. These are carnally driven imposters that pray, minister, lead, and work in communities of faith as satanic spiritual gangsters disguised as saints.

Like Judas, these implanted devils use Christ’s name in prayer and ministry, and these activities are accompanied with spiritual power. Jesus warned of this type of false Christian: “On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’” (Matthew 7:22-23).

In this passage, Jesus did not question the spiritual works of these imposters. They did cast out demons, prophesy, and do many mighty works. This passage is in context of Christ’s warning about false prophets: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?” (Matthew 7:15-16).

Through false conversions and false teachings there is a last days rise of many deceivers and imposters operating in a destructive spiritual power, using Christ’s name but not in the power of Christ. Though they use Christ’s name prominently, but Jesus will declare he never knew them.

Many deceived and false Christians have and are being lured into working for Jesus in the power of their own spirit, never being warned, taught, and disciplined by the Lord to die to their own emotional and spiritual strength. They work faithfully for the cause of Christ as directed by false teachings, deceived leadership, and many false leaders. They work for a different Christ, but the true Christ does not know them, let alone spiritually empower or work through these false Christians.

The Christian Witchcraft Syndrome

The Rise of Sorcery through Carnal Prayers

Satan has succeeded in implanting imposters amongst God’s people who operate in spiritual power that Scripture calls sorcery. Sorcery is identified in the Apostles Paul’s list of “the works of the flesh”: “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21).

Christians walking in the flesh often practice many of these acts and attitudes of heart in secret knowingly, and sometimes unknowingly. Many are blinded to their own motives of insecurity, greed, jealousy, rivalries (competitive approach to life and ministry), manipulative and controlling, in idolatry of self, and operating in their own spiritual power which is called sorcery.

Simply put, Christian sorcery is praying not according God’s will and timing, but lawlessly driven to prayer by their impure motives of heart, attempting to pray their own will be done on earth instead of God’s will. Immature and false leaders make it a practice to enlist carnal and false Christians to pray wrongly. The results can be far reaching and very destructive.

One of the most damning teachings of demons (see 1 Timothy 4:1) was spawned by Rick Warren through his Purpose Driven Life and Purpose Driven Church writings. Millions of Christians are lured into finding their purpose in serving Christ, only to be deceived in following and serving a self-serving leader.

These deceived, carnal Christians are driven by wrong motives to help build up fellowship, make converts to false doctrine (not to the true Christ), or minister tirelessly as volunteers doing church work and raising funds. The biggest purpose driven call to prayer and church work is to convert the world to Christ.

Most lured into this and other false movements and teachings develop into a weed. Few ever learn to be led by the Holy Spirit and allow their inner motives to be made pure in the discipline of the Lord.

The spiritual power of a carnally driven Christian has a power that can cause great harm to others and in most cases their prayers oppose God’s will in matters of concern. Through years of ministry, I have seen firsthand and suffered from the toxic influence of carnal and false Christian prayers.

Not only spiritual manipulation upon the minds of the undiscerning, but the evil physical and emotional harm they cause is insidious and often deadly. They can direct spiritual power in prayer or through pent up rage and jealousy toward those who come under their radar. The “impure in heart” of a carnal Christian, or a false Christian acting and praying as a saint is one of Satan’s most powerful last days weapon.

Most in this condition are in gross denial of any inner motives of evil selfishness, and naturally channel the devil’s power against the true saint, in opposition to God’s will.

Few allow Christ to reveal and correct impure motives of heart in order to be led by the Holy Spirit in prayer. Many are driven by a satanic spirit in their prayers. True leaders are called to confront carnally driven prayers, by following Christ’s teachings and examples, such as this one: “And he sent messengers ahead of him, who went and entered a village of the Samaritans, to make preparations for him. But the people did not receive him, because his face was set toward Jerusalem. And when his disciples James and John saw it, they said, “Lord, do you want us to tell fire to come down from heaven and consume them?” But he turned and rebuked them” (Luke 9:52-55). [Some manuscripts add, “And he said, ’You do not know what manner of spirit you are of; for the Son of Man came not to destroy people’s lives, but to save them.’”]

Deceived carnal Christians do not know what manner of spirit drives them, and as for the evil implant, they could care less.

 Liberation Theology Recruiting Weeds

Impostures, Cheerleaders, Caretakers, and Enablers

David Wilkerson, in his book The Vision published in 1974, prophetically wrote of the rise of a union of Protestant denominations and the Catholic Church that would form a super world church.

“I see the formation of a super world church consisting of a union between liberal ecumenical Protestants and the Roman Catholic church, joining politically hand in hand, creating one of the most powerful religious forces on earth.

This super world church will be spiritual in name only, freely using the name of Jesus Christ, but will, in fact, be antichrist and political in many of its activities. This powerful church union will be deeply involved in social action, tremendous charity programs, and ministries of compassion… I see an army of career people invading the most influential posts in this super church organization. Many of them will be ungodly, antichrist people, obsessed with the concept that this super church must be a political power, strong enough to put pressure on all those who oppose its actions. While those in the highest post of leadership will be speaking about miracles, love, and reconciliation, hirelings who work under them will be harassing and persecuting those religious organizations opposed to their leadership.” David Wilkerson, The Vision (Pyramid Communications, Inc., New York, New York, copyright David Wilkerson Youth Crusades, 1974, pp. 76-77)

Not only has the liberal Protestant denominations hooked up with the Roman Catholic Church in an ecumenical agenda, but also many Charismatic, and Evangelical factions of Christianity are now embracing a dangerous form of Liberation Theology. Many of these “normally considered” conservative churches may not join the now forming super world church that Wilkerson saw in his vision. However, they are embracing a social works approach to ministry that does little in bringing those they help to Christ and making disciples of our Lord.

Note: Liberation Theology is defined as a movement in Christian theology, developed mainly by Latin American Roman Catholics, that emphasizes liberation from social, political, and economic oppression as an anticipation of ultimate salvation.

We are seeing an army of career orientated false Christians swell the ranks of fast-growing fellowships and mega churches who want to help the poor, the homeless, and the downtrodden out of their poverty.

As for the struggling Christian coming to these fast growing seeker friendly churches, they are bathed in false promises of prosperity, and given high doses of false spirit manifestations. Pastors and worship leaders have sold themselves to idolizing false worship that conjures human spiritualism that becomes trance inducing, numbing impure issues of heart.

False prophets prophesy out of their own spirit, aided by a demonic spirit of divination. False teachers help the deceived and naïve believers develop a self-made or pseudo Christian personality and drive their followers to harden their heart to the discipline and transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

Christ and the Apostles warned repeatedly of a last days rise of the false and evil-good weeds misleading the masses: “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their licentiousness, and because of them the way of truth will be reviled. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words; from of old their condemnation has not been idle, and their destruction has not been asleep” (2 Peter 2:1-3).

These greedy false leaders enlist gullible Christians to financially support their carnal good works. Like Judas, when he rebuked Mary for anointing Jesus with costly ointment: “But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (he who was to betray him), said, ‘Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?’ This he said, not that he cared for the poor but because he was a thief, and as he had the money box he used to take what was put into it” (John 12:4-6).

False teachings and false leaders draw in Satan’s weeds and imposters for the work of ministry, and grow to become shallow cheerleaders. These offer human services and ministry, but avoid confronting wrongdoing and wrong attitudes through sound counsel and accountability. Rather these professionals who dispense Christ’s name in various forms of aid do not present the Gospel of Christ. Rather they dispense soothing-caretaking words and aid that enables bitterness and hardness that forms a cheap grace entitlement attitude of heart.

They enable a victim-entitlement mentality that resists conviction of sinfulness such as drug and alcohol use, relationship abuse and family dysfunction and the fact that they suffering wrong for wrong doing. These weed-workers are in ministry to get hurting people to idolize and follow them, not Christ. Just as the Apostle Paul warned, so these last day’s wolves prowl without any constraint, “I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them” (Acts 20:29-30).

Many of the false enlist naïve Christians to fight political causes, just as David Wilkerson wrote, “Many of them will be ungodly, antichrist people, obsessed with the concept that this super church must be a political power, strong enough to put pressure on all those who oppose its actions.”

To add to David’s prophetic vision, those confronting these hirelings and false workers will be maligned, ridiculed, suffer slanderous gossip, and be spiritually attacked. The weeds will attempt to drive true servants of Christ away from their call to preach Christ and his saving grace for the contrite in heart and repentant. The spiritual power of a weed through their prayers is dangerous and often deadly.

This describes just one type of weed that Satan has strewn amongst God’s people. There are other types that are hirelings and wolves in sheep clothing. Again, they may a pastor, lead the choir, teach Sunday school, mentor, and become stalwart volunteers who will viciously turn on a sincere believer who walks in the truth of Christ’s Gospel.

Detecting and Chasing Out a Satanic Weed in Time

It has taken me years of training and many heart-ache experiences in learning to properly detect, confront and chase out false Christians. An additional challenge was learning to patiently instruct those in my care and those in leadership training on how to walk in discernment for themselves.

What has helped immensely is to preach, teach, and exhort on all of Christs teachings and sayings. Today, the harder teachings of Christ are left out purposely by most leaders. In very few cases, a pastor may ignorantly ignore those harder teachings. However, the true motive for avoiding the harder teachings of Christ is fear of men. Jesus and His apostles were not afraid to make the game players and the false feel uncomfortable to the point repenting or fleeing fellowship.

Individual battles were many—exposing and chasing out molesters of children, fornicators, drunkards, Jezebel and Ahab character-centered false Christians—also learning not to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Many wounded and doubleminded believers had red flags pop up, but still had faith. The challenge was to patiently help the struggling Christian who acted out some of the traits of a false Christian, and to boldly and swiftly chase out the confirmed evil false believer.

Few in leadership have learned by way of Christ’s school of ministry on how to walk in the full counsel of God, and to not cower in adversity and how to avoid becoming men pleasers.

The Apostle Paul exhorts leadership to drive out the false Christian and satanic weed by the following: “I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside. ‘Purge the evil person from among you.’” (1 Corinthians 5:9-13).

Further, the Apostle instructs us in Romans to avoid such evil: “I appeal to you, brethren, to take note of those who create dissensions and difficulties, in opposition to the doctrine which you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by fair and flattering words they deceive the hearts of the naïve. For while your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, I would have you wise as to what is good and guileless as to what is evil; then the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you” (Romans 16:17-20).

The Coming Harvest of the Wheat and the Tares

The Great Falling Away and Mass Betrayal is Just Around the Corner

Now is the time to commit to Christ’s Judas Training Program. Learn from Scripture and the discipline of the Lord to discern weeds and learn to avoid them. Few move from the milk of the word and go on to maturity: “But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil” (Hebrews 5:14).

Time is running out to learn the easy way, for soon God will begin his exposing and vetting process throughout Christianity. When the God’s exposing and vetting process is in full swing, the hidden evil weed and false believer will become very problematic because of their entanglement with the sincere, but naïve believer. At that time, the effects of separating will be toxic and dangerous, where many unprepared Christians will be betrayed by the weeds in their life.

As the end of this age rolls to its climax, a universal persecution madness will come against every true Christian, (in varying degrees, but still be intense for all). The coming persecution from the world and false Christianity will help bring to light Satan’s implanted weeds and start a betrayal process just like Judas betraying Christ and his fellow apostles.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation, and put you to death; and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away, and betray one another, and hate one another (Matthew 24:9-10).

In the Parable of the Weeds, Jesus concludes: The harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels. Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age. The Son of man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers” (Matthew 13:39-41).

Do not confuse the rapture with the angel’s work of gathering all causes of sin and evildoers from within the true body of Christ at the end of this age. There has already started a “come away call” for the true saint. To separate from all close relationships with false Christians, evil weeds, and evildoers and die to any unhealthy spiritual and emotional ties to such people.

Jesus said of this coming hour, “Remember Lot’s Wife,” and speaking of the coming persecution and the Great Tribulation—these hard times that are now approaching swiftly will act as God’s vetting and purification process that will form the pure bride of Christ—to become rapture ready: “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (Revelation 7:14).

Give Christ permission to expose issues within your own heart that hinders your ability to come away from the love of this age, and blinds you to the weeds you are entangled with. Be prepared for the shocking truth and suffering that will most likely come in the process.

The Third Temple and the Pure Bride of Christ

A prophetic look at what is just around the corner

By Charles Pretlow 12/23/2018

On Monday, December 11th, 2018 the last day of Hanukkah, the Sanhedrin called out to 70 Nations to join in the consecration of the altar for the Third Temple. A full-dress reenactment of the daily sacrifice was held, to include a sacrificed sheep.

This is the first daily sacrifice enactment in over 2,000 years, held at the wailing wall at the temple mount. All the instruments and pieces used in the daily sacrifice were made and are ready to install once the Third Temple is constructed.

This is a very significant event in these last days and the fulfillment of prophesy, pointing to the fulfilment of more end-of-the-age prophesies that are just around the corner. The Third Temple will soon be built upon the temple mount next to the dome of the rock.

Few Christians heard of this enactment of the daily sacrifice on December 11, let alone grasp the significance.

The Antichrist’s Temple is Ready to be Constructed

The soon to be revealed antichrist, disguised as Israel’s long-time-in-coming messiah will make his global debut. This savior of Israel will be the man of lawlessness, who will become Satan’s puppet world ruler. Through the antichrist rule, Satan will succeed in deceiving the whole world and bring temporary false peace to Israel and the world.

Most Christians believe they will not live to see the antichrist or will be raptured to safety by the Lord before his grand entrance on the world stage. However, the coming of the Lord will occur after the antichrist will be revealed and begin his rule, just as the Apostle Paul described, “Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day [Christ’s appearance] will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).

Of course, Jesus speaks of this coming event as the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place. Jesus goes on in Matthew 24 explaining that this future event that takes place in the Temple will ignite the beginning of the end and the start of the Great Tribulation. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.  And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short” (Matthew 24:21-22).

Israel will not be converted to the true Christ through the efforts of Christianity. Every sincere Christian must accept this truth now, because the time we have remaining to prepare is running short. To repeat, the Apostle Paul warns about the second coming of Christ saying, let no one deceive you in any way.  Unfortunately, most believers are grossly deceived!

Israel is Still On-the-Outs with the Lord

Israel fell away from God’s protection when they rejected Christ as their messiah. For this, the Second Temple was destroyed and Israel, as a people became scattered and taken into captivity. By rejecting Christ as their savior, the Jewish people fell out of God’s favor and were disbursed throughout the world as a people without a nation. However, as prophesied in Scripture, Israel was born anew and became a nation in 1948. Since then Jews throughout the world have been drawn back to the land of Palestine, to live together as a people—to once again be recognized by the world as the nation of Israel.

Since then, Israel as a new nation has been constantly attacked and harassed—and looking for a savior, as promised in Scripture. Unfortunately, they still reject Christ as their savior, and wholeheartedly look for another to come as their messiah. Thus, they continue to be deceived and will soon embrace the antichrist as their messiah and give him homage, allowing him to be seated in the Holy place within the Third Temple. These prophesies are about to be fulfilled.

The soon to be constructed Third Temple is not God’s temple, but a replica of the temple in Scripture made by the Jewish leaders of Israel, who are still in rebellion to their true Messiah. Jesus replaced the temple worship system with his sacrifice, resurrection, and his accent to the right hand of God—and by sending the Holy Spirit to abide in the hearts of all genuine believers, Jew and Gentile alike.

God’s Spirit dwells in the hearts and lives of those who believe and obey Christ. True Christians are the body of Christ on earth and are the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Not the Third Temple about to be built in Jerusalem.

However, God’s true temple, the Christian Church is fouled up, corrupt, impure, divided, and in bondage to the love of this world—just as Israel was at Christ’s first coming.

Jesus, at his first coming went into the Second Temple and used a whip to chase out the money changers. So corrupt was the high priest and the Temple leaders, Jesus bypassed them all, and called common uneducated men to follow him and to become his disciples. A major part of Christ’s work in his first coming was to shut down the Temple worship system that had gone bad beyond reformation, and replace it.

God’s True Temple Needs Purification

A similar purification is coming to God’s true temple—that is the body of Christ. The soon to be bride of Christ is about to be cleansed by Christ, just as the Apostle Paul prophesied: “So that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:27).

The Christian church system, like the Temple system has also gone bad beyond reformation. Through the years, since the beginning of this church age, Satan has tried to destroy Christ’s church. Unable to do so, the devil changed tactics and repeatedly sent in wolves to hijack and infiltrate most of Christianity. God raised up true leaders to reform and correct, and most were defeated and left to come away and start anew.

In general, the reformation continued with new denominations and movements to correct false doctrine and maintain purity in fellowship. However, in these last moments of this age, false teachers, false doctrines, and false prophets walking in false spiritual power have almost completely suppressed the truth concerning how Christ will return. Few Christians are instructed on how to become ready to endure the end-of-the-age turbulent times. Christians are asleep at the darkest hour and are not prepared to endure to the end.

For the deceived, but sincere believer, the coming troubles and persecution leading into the Great Tribulation will be used by God to wake up and cleanse the body of Christ. These troubles will be used by God to vet out the false Christian. God is about to expose the false movements, false prophets, and evil weeds hiding in fellowship—that is for the Christian who desires to know the truth and take heed. A great division is coming—a separation from the false and the true believer.

It will not be a continuation of the reformation process, but rather a coming out, coming away process. The sincere Christian is about to be awakened, and in order to become ready they will have to come away from a very polluted religious system, a system that many call churchianity. Most of Christianity has made a covenant with the world, in order to be accepted and live in harmony. Worldliness, carnal spiritualism, and sin has taken over most of Christianity. The coming persecution and troubles will end this sick marriage between Christians and the world.

The choice will become clear, where deceived denominations or fellowships will fall away from the truth completely, but still hold control over the false Christians. The foolish false Christian will have their fate sealed and become locked out from the coming marriage between Christ and his bride—a purified Church!

Review the Apostle Paul’s warning: “The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.  Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12).

Just as the high priest and the temple leaders rejected Christ’s first coming, so too in these last days, most false leaders and corrupt church organizations will reject how Christ will come again. The false church leaders, like the false temple leaders will make a deal with the coming antichrist government. The true believer will be powerless to correct the false and be forced to come away or end up falling away with the deceived who are in control of the deceived church organizations.

Brace yourself for a great falling away just as Jesus explained. This will begin to happen before the antichrist is revealed. Read for yourself how Christ describes the coming purification of his Church: “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.  And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.  And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.  And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.  But the one who endures to the end will be saved.  And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:9-14).

Knowing the Truth about what’s Coming does not Make one Pure and Ready

The Prophesy of Malachi 3 and 4 Being Re-Fulfilled

For years Christ has been preparing true servants to bring forth sound doctrine on how to prepare for the coming kingdom. Now, as more chaos and lawlessness increase, the only good news for the true believer will be the preaching and teaching of the coming kingdom and how to prepare to endure to the end. The true believer must become strengthened in faith to endure victoriously the coming waves of troubles and persecution. Few are ready to endure to the end in this coming vetting process that will make Christ’s church into a pure bride.

To help the true Christian become prepared, true servants will seemingly come from no-where and not be from the company of the famous. Just as Christ called his first Apostles from the common people and not the temple priesthood—so again Christ has already called his bondservants, not from the heralded leaders of today, but in secret, starting years ago.

These servants are men and women of God who have spent years in the wilderness to die to any need of reputation. These are true shepherds who know Christ and are known by him, who only serve Christ and refuse to be men pleasers.

Jesus has been refining these true servants just as it was prophesied in Malachi. This is what he did with his first Apostles and servants, and so again in these last days he has been and will continue to refine his true servants: “But who can endure the day of his coming, and who can stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap.  He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and they will bring offerings in righteousness to the LORD” (Malachi 3:2-3).

John the Baptist confirms Malachi 3, by declaring Christ’s main work to be a purifier and refiner of his true servants: “He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.  His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire” (Matthew 3:11-12).

Christ’s first disciples were indeed ran-through-the-ringer. Every ounce of ill character and the love for this life was burned up within them by an unquenchable fire. The disciples despaired of life itself and were scattered, hiding from the temple leaders in fear, all the while as Christ suffered and was crucified. However, Christ arose from the dead to their dismay. From then on, the disciples served to please no man, but serve the risen Christ, no longer fearing death.

Even the Apostle Paul, (whom Christ chose to replace Judas) had to endure this very same grueling refiner’s fire. Paul explains: “Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead.  He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again” (2 Corinthians 1:9-10).

Another declaration by the Apostle explains further what it means to be a true dead-to-self servant who confronts false leadership who distort the Gospel of Christ: “As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.  For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ” (Galatians 1:9-10).

Few in leadership today allow Christ to chasten, purify, and refine their character to become Christlike. Most embrace a distorted Gospel and learn to take the easy way to create a personality to look Christlike. These self-made disciples fearfully avoid entering in to a death like Christ, to have put in place Christlike character. “For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his” (Romans 6:5).

Like the Third Temple soon to be constructed, Christians are taught to construct their own inner being and character to be Christlike. “Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain” (Psalm 127:1).

Those who embrace the Lord’s discipline, trials and tests, who embrace death-to-old-self moments orchestrated by the Lord—are those whom God will protect and use on the day that he acts: “They shall be mine, says the LORD of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him.  Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him…  But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.  And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the LORD of hosts” (Malachi 3:17-18; 4:2-3).

The Final Outpouring on the Day that God Acts

What can the sincere saint look forward to in these dark, dreary and turbulent days? Even though there are many prophesies that this nation will be awakened and diverted from its self-destructive course—so far, there is no move of God to convert the masses and turn America back to her godly Christian roots. Everything is getting worse. America and its form of Christianity are on the threshold of unbearable judgments and anarchy.

God is about to act, before the great and terrible day of the Lord. During the coming apocalyptic events there will come an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the hearts of the deceived and the lost. A last days awakening is coming that will overshadow all previous outpourings. A holy fear and sense of looming judgment will sweep through millions, and the terror of being left out of eternity will grip masses of confused good hearted people.

Weeping, confessing, repenting, forgiving, restitution, and holy fear and reverence in the presence of a Holy God will fall upon true fellowship meetings. Non-believers and lukewarm believers will gasp for their breath, weep and wail as they walk down the street or pull to the side of the road—and not be listening to any sermon.

Without any thought of being religious or just deciding to go to church, scores and scores of ordinary people doing their daily shores or at work will fall prostrate before a holy God, in a dire sense of foreboding fear, and in anguish call out to Christ to be their savior.

A rolling wave of weeping and crying out for forgiveness in solemn reverence will fall upon masses in random communities. Individuals and large groups will spontaneously seek help from true servants and workers as they seek understanding and instruction on how to become saved and cleansed by Christ.

News reports will cover these unprompted acts of contrition as true fellowships burst with new comers and true believers alike. These will be focused intently on sound doctrine presented by true leadership. Headline reports will be captioned with adjectives such as: “Phenomenon” “Unexplainable” “Not Normal” “Awe Struck Fear of God” “Solemn Yet Glorious” “The Heavens Opened and Poured”

But before all this, the Lord will have set in place his true leadership—and the battle to keep the false from sneaking in to subvert this coming final outpouring will be intense. God will have true leadership arise to manage and protect this coming outpouring, for once again the masses shall clearly see, “the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.”

If this message resonates in your heart by confirmation of the Holy Spirit, then it is God calling you to become a true worker or leader to be used by God during the coming hour—when he gathers in his lost and deceived. God is calling unto himself those who fear the Lord and see the hand writing on the wall, to become true bondservants of Christ.

If so, then allow God to make you his treasured possession to be sparred and used on the day that he acts.

The Cry of Job Will Soon be Heard Throughout the Land!

world-chaos

The next economic bust will come in the form of complete financial collapse of America, which will lead to anarchy, looting, martial law, and the end of capitalism and most of our freedoms.

If God hears our prayers, then this coming total collapse will not be without warning like the 1930’s Great Depression where many investors lost their wealth overnight.

Perhaps there will be a momentary rebound. Regardless of the scenario of events, this current economic boom is the calm before the storm. This final round of prosperity is a giant sign that judgment of America and other western countries is looming.

The past depressions, recessions, and monetary crises are all part of the increasing birth pangs designed to shake loose America’s spellbinding grip on God’s people. It is the start of widespread economic hardship that will touch millions who believed they were well off, including many content and prosperous Christians.

If we intercede, this judgment may be gradual rather than immediate. But I fear the recent past mini crisis were God’s last warnings, and now this rocket type explosive economy is the seal of judgment from God.

He has turned our wicked culture and lukewarm asleep church over to the passivity of prosperity, where most are in a drunken stupor, reeling in the false blessings of peace and materialism.

Bankruptcy, foreclosure, repossession, loss of employment, divorce, and homelessness will be forced upon many. Innumerous people will become hopeless, homeless, and suicides will increase.

Standing in line for food stamps, handouts, and essentials will be the only way to survive for those who are unprepared. Roving gangs of millennials, illegal aliens, the desperate homeless, criminals, and anarchists will inflict murder, robbery, rape, and destruction on a panic stricken public. Law enforcement resources will be overwhelmed. Some metropolitan areas will have marshal law declared with blackouts and lockdowns.

Politicians, economists, and financiers will be at a loss as how to correct the root of the problem that was caused by greed that produced a staggering national debt.

Corrupt politicians and business executives’ lust for wealth through debt, greed, and manipulation is no different than most in church leadership, with their greed disguised in the prosperity message.

All for ill gain the wounds of God’s people are healed lightly—covering up trauma and dysfunction with lies, half-truths, and medication. (Just as it was in Jeremiah’s day – see Jerimiah 6:13-15.)

This on fire economy will suffer mortal blows and be stressed due to the increasing birth pangs—where natural disasters will deplete reserves and bankrupt the government.

Jesus predicted that this would be a major sign marking the end of this age, as described in this passage: “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nations in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to take place, look up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:25-28).

The powers of heaven are being shaken and Satan will be soon thrown down—and in great wrath the devil will bring trouble upon the saints and the world, for he knows his time is short.

These stressful troubles will become very sobering, and the cry of Job will be heard from unprepared and lukewarm Christians throughout the land. God is allowing Satan to touch the unprepared believer in this country and around the world.

Many will blame God and not understand His purposes or see that the god of this world (Satan) is the perpetrator, allowed by God—since God of creation has been removed from the American culture. America and a lukewarm church are about reap what we all have sown.

As in the story of Job, Satan wanted to inflict trouble upon Job and destroy him—including taking his life. However, God allowed trouble to come upon Job incrementally, at the hands of the devil. Job complained to God and to others that he did not deserve such treatment and that he had done right before God. The sudden outbreak of calamities baffled Job.

Today, the devil will be allowed to do the same. Job-like complaints will be the cry of many Christians and non-Christians alike.

Job cried out: “Though I am innocent, I cannot answer him; I must appeal for mercy to my accuser. If I summoned him and he answered me, I would not believe that he was listening to my voice. For he crushes me with a tempest, and multiplies my wounds without cause; he will not let me get my breath, but fills me with bitterness. If it is a contest of strength, behold him! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?” (Job 9:15-19).

Just as Job cried in frustration, soon millions will also cry and ask, “Why, God? We thought we were exempt from suffering and that we would escape the coming trouble.”

The naïve and unprepared will be in shock, crying out to God, “Why? I lived a righteous life! Why have you forsaken me?”

Many do not understand the purpose for the troubling birth pangs that we are now experiencing. Neither do they understand that the Great Tribulation is the wrath of Satan, not the wrath of God.

Obviously, the world rejects God. But many Christians walk in self-righteous arrogance and are madly in love with this world. Some think they are living for God and believe they are exempt from trouble as they only think about Him as an afterthought.

It is true that America continues to reject God. But in addition to America rejecting God, its self-righteous, hypocritical church also believes it is exempt from trouble. This rebellion and arrogance have given Satan a right to do his thing just as he did with Job.

God Allowed Job to Lose Everything—to Wake Him Up

In the book of James, God’s purpose for allowing the devil to inflict such terrible trouble upon Job is revealed, “Behold, we call those happy who were steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful” (James 5:11).

God allowed the devil to inflict suffering upon Job, so He might bestow upon Job compassion and mercy! Initially, this may seem manipulative on God’s part. But if we consider the alternative, indeed, Job’s sufferings led him to obtain God’s grace and mercy—not on the merit of Job’s righteousness, but on Job’s faith.

Job’s problem (as is with most righteous believers as with so-called good-hearted non-believers today) was his reliance on his own righteous works (like an insurance policy with the premiums all paid in advance).

This leads to confidence in self, and it often leads to religious arrogance and self-righteousness. Blessings and prosperity become a signal to take it easy in life. It often causes the prideful Christian to believe God has given His stamp of approval on their lives and they can now show off to others.

There are those who exhibit an “in-your-face” attitude—in the recent past, certain national Christian leaders blamed homosexuals and witches for the cause of 9/11.

Job’s issues were self-justification and self-reliance based on his religious works. This gave Satan a right to sift and test Job. This condition of Job’s heart, if not corrected, could have caused his faith to fail.

Believing that we are trusting in God when we are really trusting in our own righteousness, if not corrected will nullify God’s grace. The author of the book of Job makes it clear that the reason Satan could accost, sift, destroy, and almost physically kill Job was simply “…because he was righteous in his own eyes” (Job 32:1).

Elihu, the youngest of the four trying to help Job understand what his suffering was all about, finally convinced Job of this condition: Job was justifying himself rather than God.

Job was not sinning, but he was relying on his own righteousness to keep him in good standing with God. He was blessed, living prosperously, and protected. Satan saw Job’s self-reliant stance, but God saw Job’s true faith, despite Job’s misunderstandings.

In the end, when afflicted and then confronted, Job comes to a very needful realization about his relationship with God by stating: “I had heard of thee by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees thee; therefore I despise myself, and repent in dust and ashes” (Job 42:4,5).

Few Christians experience this realization of self and come to salvation by grace through faith. Most do not see this all-important principle until they come to the end of themselves (as believers).

The Apostle Paul conveys this important realization as well, when he wrote, “Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?” (Romans 7:24). Of course, Jesus Christ does for us and in us what we, weakened by our human condition cannot do.

Few Christians truly experience coming to the end of self-reliance and trust in their right living and religious lifestyle. Few become humble enough to allow God to change their inner man or woman by His grace, compassion, and mercy.

Trouble, trials, and affliction serve God’s purposes to keep the sincere Christian from falling into self-dependence and self-righteousness—making the same fatal mistake as that of the religious hypocrites of Christ’s day.

Many believers are in a smug, self-righteous condition that is far worse than Job’s condition of self-reliance—they are prideful, in love with this world, and blind to the risk of being rejected by Christ.

Many know of Christ, but few truly know Him or are known by Christ. Jesus warned: “On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.’” (Matthew 7:22, 23).

Satan still prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to destroy, and in the coming days he will be more ferocious than ever. He is about to be cast out of heaven, knowing his time is short, and will make terrible war upon the saints.

Like Job, the coming suffering is allowed by God to wake up millions of Christians, agnostics, atheists, and lost sinners alike, in hopes to turn their hearts toward heaven, the Gospel and the coming Kingdom of God, without doubt or reservation.

Stress and troubling pressures will be used by God to cleanse, change, and cause his true church to come away from the love of this world and false Christianity. The Christian with true faith will lift their heads heavenward, straighten up, and rejoice for they know their redemption is drawing very near—and is at the very gates.

In doing so, they will not be ensnared suddenly, but they will become prepared to endure to the end, “But he who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:13).

The Last Days Rebellion Has Begun

Racing towards the revealing of the man of lawlessness  – by Charles Pretlow 07/26/2018

“Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, …  The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.  Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12).

The Masses are Believing Political Lies—Reacting in Rebellious Rage

We see the seeds of the coming last days rebellion that the Apostle Paul prophesied coming to pass right before our eyes. Already the far-left political agenda has given itself over to hate, verbal vitriol, legal pressure, and economic blackmail. Now, anyone that stands in their way becomes publicly assailed and vilified. In their loss of the 2016 election, the liberal leaders and their mass followers are resorting to over-the-top rage, intimidation, vandalism, and economic extortion.

America has become irreversibly divided! Families and friends suffer vicious arguments causing bitter splits. These rivalries and unfriendly discourses are even affecting business relationships.  Rebel political groups are formed to bring pressure on individuals, businesses, and politicians who do not hold to their socialistic, Sodom-like immorality, and anarchist ideology.

Like Korah’s rebellion against Moses in the wilderness, so too, this last days rebellion is in full stride to bring political chaos and pressure that will help usher in the antichrist rule.

God’s people are not excused from this increasing chaos, persecution, and hate filled rage. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day [Christ appearance] will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed.

A multitude of believers are indeed deceived, thinking Christ will appear and the rapture occurs before any real trouble comes, or before the antichrist becomes leader of the world. Most Christians are asleep, playing church and will become shocked as the birth-pang judgments continue to increase, leading into persecution madness. And this coming crazed persecution is accelerating because of the election of President Trump.

Wholesale Deception Upon Evangelical and Pentecostal/Charismatic Christians

Christians have bought into the false hope that President Trump will restore morality to the American culture and “Make America Great Again.”  Even though we see great success with Trump’s leadership making head way in many areas, this will not last!

Unfortunately, most Christians and conservatives have misconstrued Trump’s successes. This is a temporary pause in the coming darkness, and very soon birth-pang judgments and a backlash from the powers of darkness will derail these advances. We are about to see Christ’s prophesy in Matthew 24:9-14 come to pass in full measure. (Pray for more time to get ready and don’t squander what precious time we do have left.)

There is coming a series of calamities and political missteps that will cause the fickle electorate to flip-flop, igniting the far left to come back with a vengeance. Like the 2006 backlash at the polls that put Nancy Pelosi in power, and the election of Obama in 2008. (The ’06 and ‘08 pushback against Christian influence was ignited by judgements upon God’s people, particularly the Ted Haggard exposé.)

In this soon to come backlash of hateful persecution, I see the Lord pouring out His Spirit for what I refer to as the midnight cry awakening, to awaken His sleeping Church for the final harvest of lost souls.

This coming persecution against all Christians will be allowed by the Lord to vet his Church, separating the false from the sincere. Lust for prosperity and the idolatry of the American dream has put a spell on God’s people. Millions of lukewarm Christians are becoming engulfed by a strong delusion, right along with the wicked.

Why? Because, most Christians in America love prosperity, are content to just play church, and lustfully drive to achieve the American dream. Their love for Christ is faint in comparison for their love for this age. Many on fire believers will end up like Demos, who was in love with this present age and deserted the Apostle Paul.

Few Christians embrace all of Christ’s teachings, but rather cherry pick favorite passages. Most believers are taught to stop up their ears and avoid the harder teachings of Christ and His everyday discipline that transforms inner character.

Millions upon millions on fire Christians will deny even knowing Christ and fall away, and many will become traitors like Judas, betraying Christians who take a stand for the true Christ.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:9-13).

Satan is demanding to sift most on fire Evangelical, Pentecostal and Charismatic Christians just like Christ allowed Peter to be sifted. When this persecution madness comes, many Christians will wake up and find they were not in love with Christ enough to see in the darkness—they will not be able to endure to the end and be saved. “But the one who endures to the end will be saved”

Like the five foolish maidens in Christ’s last days parable (Matthew 25:1-13), unprepared believers will turn to the man of lawlessness for sustenance, so they can maintain a peaceful and secure life on earth. (The antichrist rule will coerce and extort loyalty by controlling the buying and selling everything, including food.)

Millions of unprepared lukewarm Christians will soon be spewed out of Christ’s mouth because they loved this world and its pleasures more than Christ. They refuse to believe the truth and be truly saved. Rather, they continue to seek the pleasures of this life and pretend they have eternal life, while all along ignoring Christ’s commands.

Satan’s angel of light workers have succeeded in deceiving millions by preaching and promoting a false gospel and a pseudo Christ, empowered by a counterfeit spirit. Thus, fulfilling another prophesy by the Apostle Paul: “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths” (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

A Fractured Church

Just as America is splitting at the seams, so too, Christianity will split right down the middle. Again, referring to the parable of the ten maidens. As the midnight cry begins to be heard by God’s people, a fracturing, not unification will take place.

Just like the ten maidens, the five foolish departed company and left the five wise maidens and went into the world. The wise maidens held their relationship with Christ, endured in the darkness waiting patiently and seeing clearly in the darkness right up to the end.

The wise Christian in this coming hour will make sure they are prepared and walk in genuine faith. These believers will hold true because they will have embraced all of Christ teachings, and allowed His discipline to transform them. They will be invited into the marriage feast. The foolish maidens (Christians) will came later and ask to enter as well, only to hear from Christ: “Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.” (Matthew 25:12).  Pseudo Christians will be locked out of eternity.

Now is the time to allow Christ to test your faith. Endure trials now and learn to examine your faith in Christ to see if it genuine: “Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!” (2 Corinthians 13:5)

Emerging Church Morphing into Last Days Harlot Church

The ecumenical push by the Emerging church has transformed itself and filtered into many Protestant denominations and most Evangelical church movements. Churches and fellowships no longer present the power of Christ to transform the repentant sinner, but rather push social good works using Christ’s name.

The reformation movement that began centuries ago has become almost completely derailed as the Emerging Church movement morphs into a social helps mission in conjunction with the Roman Catholic Church. Right before our eyes, we are witnessing the formation of the last days harlot church spoken of in Revelation by the Apostle John. Unfortunately, few recognize this end-of-the-age reunification of Christianity as one of the last steps in for the transformation of visible Christianity into the last days harlot church.

This last days harlot church will be a conglomeration of lukewarm and apostate Protestant Christians and the Roman Catholic denomination and other orthodox Christian sects. The main objective for this coming unification, so eagerly sought and organized by false leaders, is to ensure the Christian religion survives the coming global upheaval and is accepted by the world in the coming global unification of all nations.

In the end, just prior to Christ’s return, the harlot church will be destroyed: “And the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, and devour her flesh and burn her up with fire, for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled” (Revelation 17:16-17).

Embracing the Uncomfortable Truth and Reject the Lying Pleasures of a Deceiving World

Amazingly, Christians everywhere in America push Jesus as savior like car lot sales people glamorizing buying a new car. Few are told the uncomfortable truth about becoming a follower of Christ and what is required of them to succeed in growing up into salvation and being made into a disciple of Christ.

Jesus is calling those who follow him today to become bond-servant-disciples, who are disciplined by the Lord personally, learning to embrace all that Christ taught in Scripture.

Millions of Charismatic and Pentecostal Christians want the power of God operating within their lives but refuse to become transformed internally and have true Christlike character developed witin. They want the power of Christ, but not his transforming discipline that brings the fullness of His holy presence and his Lordship in all of life.

Jesus is saying to the American Christian of today: “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great” (Luke 6:46-49).

When the end-of-this-age storms reach their destructive heights, those lukewarm Christians who played church, who sat comfortably listening to Christ’s words and did not do them, will fall away. Most will become antichrist followers, or at best unduly suffer for their disobedience and lawlessness.

These rebellious Christians rejected the call to buy gold from Christ refined in the fires of His discipline. Instead, they continue to lust after the lying pleasures of this world. They invest in prosperity, peace, and security at the cost of true faith. They reject Christ’s commands to store one’s treasures in heaven. In the end their worldly riches and the pursuit of the American dream will cost them their eternal salvation, unless they repent in time, showing fruit of repentance.

God has allowed Satan to set a trap for the lawless Christian in many ways. One way is the current slogan “Make America Great Again,” bolstered by the current historical surge in the economy. Millions of world-loving Christians believe God is going to restore America. Millions of on fire believers will find themselves locked out of the marriage feast at Christ’s coming, because they loved this life more than Christ and refused to embrace and do all that Christ commands.

“On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness’” (Matthew 7:22-23).

Beware of “Making America Great Again” and being sucked into this last day’s prosperity and temporary pushback against wickedness. It is a trap for the undiscerning Christian. “But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:34-36).

Peace and Security, then Sudden Destruction

Don’t let Trump’s Restoring America Advances Lull Us to Sleep

by Charles Pretlow 06/18/2018

“Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, ‘There is peace and security,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober” (1 Thessalonians 5:1-6).

Most Christians are in a Deadly Trap

Jesus frequently warned to stay awake always, especially in the last days of this age. Unfortunately, only a small number see the hour that is now upon us. And even within that small remnant, few are prepared to endure to the end of the coming terrible ordeal that is about to begin.

Those few Christians who believe in the post tribulation rapture are children of the light. Yet knowing the truth concerning the end of this age doesn’t make one prepared. Jesus warned that hard times would come upon Christians as the birth pangs of the coming kingdom turn into the Great Tribulation period.

Christ said, “But the one who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:13). And elsewhere in Scripture, Christ warns, “But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36).

Do not let the current patriotic surge with the election of Trump and his administration successes lull you to sleep. Sudden destruction and severe trouble is looming. This coming destruction will catch most Christians off guard and unprepared.

I will touch briefly on how to become prepared later in this post, but first let me update all of you on the mail out campaign we completed last week.

Mount Rainier Warning Update

First, thanks to those who prayed and for those who gave financial support to help cover printing and postage costs. At the end of the day last Wednesday, we had a little over $14.00 in our account from mailing over 375 books with cover letters. Continue to pray.

We sent mailers to the churches in towns and cities all around the MT Rainier mudflow danger zones, all the way down to Tacoma Washington. We are praying about sending more mailers to churches in the Seattle area and Olympia area. We also sent mailers to TBN, CBN, GodTV, The Jim Bakker Show, and several other major national ministries.

Believing the Truth Must Lead us to Action

For those of us who see earthquakes, the roaring of the seas (hurricanes), war and rumor war, the cry for security and peace, along with the Sodomite wickedness overtaking America and the world—we are truly blessed. However, let us not turn this knowledge into a trap within its self, for many see yet do not see.

It takes much more than just believing the truth about the end of this age to endure to the end. We will need spiritual strength, purity of heart, and the power of His might by abiding in the fulness of Christ to stand when He appears.

Pray for Strength and be Willing to Embrace God’s Discipline

Few are taught how to present their lives as a living sacrifice to God and then learn how to embrace Christ’s discipline and testing that transforms our old nature into Christlike character—to no longer be driven by the passions of the flesh and live in worldliness. Importantly, not play church religiously and smugly ignore the call to minister the truth.  (Review Romans 12:1-2 and Hebrews 12:7-11.)

There are many biblical principles that we must learn, in order that we may walk victoriously through the Lord’s transformation process. The main rule is to study and do all that Christ teaches in Scripture. However, today I want to focus on one principle: Taking ownership of bad thoughts, ill feelings, and lustful desires.

Most Christians are taught to ignore, pretend away, perform religious rituals, or carnally create a Christian personality to suppress inner disturbing issues. The foundation for these errored approaches in walking and growing in Christ is based on false doctrines. Teachings that put at ease the born-again Christians are destructive lies.

The most insidious false teachings states that if you are born again you received a totally renovated heart and personal spirit.

Wounded and defiled Christians, when experiencing troubling thoughts, feelings, or compulsively act out one of the works of the flesh, become devastated. Because of the lie that a born-again believer instantly receives a new heart and a pure personal spirit—when reality hits—many fall back into secret sin, or fall away from Christ, or learn to become a religious hypocrite.

Simply put, Jesus taught, “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” Matthew 12:34. Thus, catching the thoughts before speaking or acting is just one step in holding ourselves accountable to work with God to grow and become transformed. This is the work of every true Christian—to become sanctified by learning to work with the Holy Spirit in purifying the heart and renewing the spirit of the mind.

Scripture instructions believers to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Thus, every thought is to be caught and understood in the light of Christ’s teachings. And if those thoughts and feelings do not line up to that standard and not pass that test, then there remain issues of heart to be dealt with.

The Apostle Paul wrote this: “Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God” (2 Corinthians 7:1).

Further, this passage from the book of James concisely describes God’s recovery and sanctification process: “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you” (James 4:8-10).

This is part of the work that will allow us to walk in grace and in the power of the Lord. That is how we receive the strength to get through the coming troubles.

Many Christians will find they have little spiritual strength of faith and lack an effective prayer life in Christ. Millions of seemly solid believers will be thrown into the valley of decision, lacking wisdom and a solid relationship with Christ.

Unless denial is broken, and we embrace God’s transformation work, we will not escape the coming trials.

Coupled with persecution and tremendous deception, many on-fire Christians will be sucked into darkness and be locked out from attending the marriage feast. Many unprepared believers will hear from Christ, “I never knew you, depart from me.”

Now is the time to give God permission to expose any dormant defilements, roots of bitterness, unbelief, jealousy, or passivity of faith that can easily cause us harm. Deeply hidden issues give Satan ground to sift us and if possible, destroy our faith.

Many are in denial like Peter. Even after Christ confronted and warned Peter, he still stopped up his ears. Christ confronted Peter saying, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers” (Luke 22:31-32).

Peter did not believe Christ’s assessment as being doubleminded and vulnerable. In the end, when Peter was put to the test, he denied the Lord and wept bitterly.

Christians who deny they have issues of heart and suffer instability with their walk will soon be put to the test. Many will be taken out by Satan. Are you doubleminded like Peter was?

Jesus allowed the devil to sift Peter to a point. Those who reject Christ’s warnings will suffer extra and many will fail in their faith, and in the end bow down to the coming antichrist rule.

Learn to take ownership of inner issues as they surface and seek the Holy Spirit as Counselor and Spirit of Truth. Don’t be afraid to let the Lord show you hidden issues you can’t see or don’t want to see.

Seek the gift of prophesy where secrets of the heart are revealed. Start by working with yourself, being led by the Holy Spirit, then as you work out your own salvation you will become qualified to work with others. You will learn to hear rightly and minister in God’s timing and in His grace.

MT Rainier Eruption Soon

Birth Pang Judgments Increasing to Awake a Sleeping Church

by Charles Pretlow 05/26/2018

rainier-spaceneedle

Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning, and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the wedding feast, so that they may open the door to him at once when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them” (Luke 12:35-37).

Mount Rainier Erupting and Spewing Lava

As a Pacific Northwest native, my heart is burden about what the Lord has shown me coming to the Puget Sound region of America. I am compelled to warn.

This warning is meant for the sincere Christian who knows Christ, who has an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to God’s people in this hour—and particularly to the churches immediately due west of MT Rainier.

The Lord started this warning through a dream I had during the week of March 25th, 2012. In the dream, the Puget Sound area of the Northwest was the location of volcanic activity that included earthquakes, lava flow, forest fires, ash, and bellowing smoke, making great portions of the land bleak and desolate. Ash covered most of the land and trees, and there were numerous forest fires.

In the dream, the region was ringed by mountains just as it is in the Puget Sound region—ringed by the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges—but some of these mountains were spewing lava and erupting with volcanic activity.

I decided in April of 2012, to put the content of this message in book format for private distribution, thinking that word of mouth was the appropriate way to bring forth the message.

Then in May of 2014, I had another dream that was more specific and very detailed. This dream led to updating the original book, assigning it an ISBN, and making it available for retail distribution. (Since then, only a handful of Christians have received this message, and only few passed it on to others.)

In my second dream I was looking south towards Seattle from afar, in some house near the Mt. Vernon area, at least that was my sense of location. The Seattle skyline with the space needle was vivid, and Mount Rainier towered in the background. In this scene, Mount Rainier began to bellow smoke (perhaps ash) from its western slope, and then suddenly the smoke or ash turned to molten lava spewing forth.

In the forefront of this scene (within the house), the TV and Internet suddenly stopped, then a second or two later these two mediums resumed broadcasting and operating as normal, then the dream ended.

These prophetic dreams are not the first warnings I have received from the Lord. View a recent Sunday message that explains how the Lord has led me to this moment, to warn others of impending destruction. View God is Raising His Voice on YouTube.

MT Rainier Lahar (Volcanic mudflows) Danger Zones

This prophetic warning is primarily meant for the masses of people who live, work, or own businesses within MT Rainier’s volcanic mudflow paths. These people are the most at risk to die almost instantly, possibly within less than an hour of the mudflow warning.

We are conveying this prophetic warning for those living in the projected lahar danger zones, specifically for Christian leadership to act and warn those in their care. In addition, we will attempt to share this warning with major Christian media ministries—to get the message out further.

Scientists, seismologist, and volcanologists studying MT Rainier’s history have set up early warning systems for people living in MT Rainier’s likely volcanic mudflow paths.

Despite the government warning systems now in place, scientist estimate that over 20,000 people will suffer loss of life. MT Rainier poses extreme risk to life and property, as many communities are situated atop old lahar deposits. View History Channel’s video on YouTube entitled: Mount Rainier Volcano is a Ticking Time Bomb – 2015 Documentary. Viewing this 44 minutes video will help one understand and hopefully take to heart Mt. Rainer’s deadly destructive force.

Why the prophetic warning for Christians living in these lahar destruction zones? The lahar warning system reacts and warns after the event begins, after the mudflows start. This warning system gives just minutes to evacuate to higher ground.

For example, people living in the town of Orting will have maybe 40 minutes to rush to higher safe ground. The 30 ft wall of volcanic mudflow travels at 40 miles per hour. Highways will be jammed, people running to safety will be overtaken by ash and pumice mixed into hot concrete-like mud, carrying all manner of debris.

Therefore, scientists calculate that up to 20,000 or more people will lose their life in this wall of volcanic mud that won’t stop until it hits Puget Sound.

God’s Warning System

Scientists know Rainier is overdue to erupt, but they do not know when. However, God does know, and he warns through his prophets. When MT Rainier begins to increase in earthquake activity (swarms of small earthquakes and larger tremors) and other initial indicators, then know that it is time to make way to high ground by relocating in advance or finding a place to stay temporarily.

Many will say it won’t happen, however, the Lord is saying, it will happen this time. If people wait until Rainier blows, it will be too late for many to run or drive to safety. Staying in shelter will not save anyone caught in the path a lahar mudflow tsunami.

God does still warn through his servants and He expects those in leadership to hear from God for themselves by confirming with the Lord concerning prophesy. If confirmed, then they are held accountable to be led by the Holy Spirit in helping others in their care, to be ready.

This prophesy is given to pastors and elders who minister and live in MT Rainier lahar danger zones—that they might warn and work with others—to pray, seek God’s direction and become ready to flee to safety before MT Rainier erupts.

Birth Pang Wake Up Judgments

Except for a few sold-out bond-servants of Christ, most of the people of God are asleep. Christians have heard warnings over and over—yet life goes on. Because the bridegroom (the returning Christ) is delayed, most believers are slumbering, and many are “out cold”—sound asleep. Even now, as the signs of his coming scream GET READY, few are awake or prepared for his return. Jesus said, “So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates” (Matthew 13:29).

God in his faithfulness is about to wake up more of his people by raising his voice to another level, using earthshaking signs. The earth will soon recoil again and again to awaken a sleeping church to help gather his lost sheep in a rebellious world. God will allow violent earthquakes and volcanic activity that is beyond any modern historical precedence.

All the recent devastating earthquakes in various places will seem minor compared to this next round of shaking. In some areas of the world, the air, land, and sea will shake and spew volcanic eruptions, causing millions to take pause with a sense of doom.

Even now, as the volcanic activity on the “Big Island” of Hawaii continues, millions worldwide gaze, almost spellbound at the images streaming online, like watching a light show. This hot spot in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, on American soil—that won’t slow down in gushing forth lava, is God raising His voice. Still, God’s people are asleep. When MT Rainier blows, how many of God’s people will wake up and realize the end is at the very gates?

Getting this warning into the hands of the pastors throughout the danger area is my responsibility, and I could really use your financial help.

When sent, what is done then is up to each pastor or Christian leader. Hopefully, many pastors will wake up and act, so they can instruct, guide, and help those in their care prepare to relocate prior to this coming eruption—to ensure and plan for the best possible exit to high ground.

After sending the 450, then we will expand mailings to the churches in the greater Seattle and Olympia area as funds permit.

Become a Midnight Cry Messenger

Post-tribulation believers, it is time to wake and act. I believe the content of this prophetic book is the beginning of the midnight cry awakening. Few will believe this prophesy.

However, when it does happen many will wake up. God wants to use this prophesy to restore sound teachings of our Lord Jesus concerning the end of this age and how to prepare.

Many believers who understand what is coming upon America and the world have been watching and waiting patiently, now it is time to act. The sincere servant should be compelled to follow Christ’s admonition: “Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning” and if you are ready, then now is the time to act.

God’s people are spell-bound by myths and lies, and with this warning and judgment, the Lord is giving his midnight cry messengers a giant introduction with His backing. The following are some guidelines on how to help get this word out.

Guidelines on How to Help get this Message Out

If you are called of God to help promote this message and get it into the hands of others, then make sure you are willing to face ridicule and scoffing; until this prophetic warning comes to pass many will attack it as false.  Even after the event, people will still contend that it was just a natural disaster and that science had warned that it would happen eventually.

  • Pray: Learn what it means to pray earnestly and seek God’s will in intercessory prayer for God’s people and his lost sheep to wake up, come out, and come home to God through the true Christ.

Most Important: Read the Prophetic Warning Yourself and embrace Christ’s discipline to help you become prepared. Just because you see the truth of the coming troubles leading to Christ appearance doesn’t prove that you are ready. Become prepared and strengthened in Christ, don’t become complacent and lethargic. This prophetic warning outlines how to work with God in becoming ready, God’s way.

Developing Strength to Endure and Escape

Taking to heart and acting on Christ’s warnings. by Charles Pretlow 04/23/2018

bibleprayer“But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:34-36).

 What Type of Strength?

What type of strength are we to pray for that will allow us to escape the difficult troubles now coming upon America and the world?  When we start praying for strength, what must we understand concerning how God’s strengthens his children to endure, survive and stand when Christ appears?

Simply, it is strength of faith in Christ and obedience to his words. This strength of faith is not magically downloaded by one or two prayers hastily presented before God. In Romans 12:1 the Apostle Paul exhorts us to present our bodies, (all of life’s cares, passions, and ambitions) as a living sacrifice to God. This translates into giving God permission to do whatever it takes to get us ready and strong in the Lord Christ Jesus.

In the book of James, we are instructed: “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing” (James 1:2-4).

How many are willing to give God permission to try their faith to become strong in the Lord? That he may try us and discipline us to the point that our walk with Christ is in perfection of faith. Complete in obedience to the leadership of the Holy Spirit, and that we lack nothing in this life, even in times of severe trouble.

Trails of faith are not fun, and we are not to walk around setting ourselves up for abuse and trouble. They will come when you least expect them and are meant to strengthen us in faith, trust, and obedience. In trials we learn to rely not on ourselves, but on God who will save us from the mouth of lion. Few understand the way through a trial is trust, obedience, and endurance. That means we are not to cower in the corner and become frozen in hysteria and push the panic button.

When God delivers us through a trail, it is when every avenue of own ingenuity and strength is exhausted. And that is when our prayers become serious, desperate and humble.

All the great stories of Scripture; David, Daniel, Shadrach Meshach and Abednego, Moses and Israel trapped between the Red Sea and the Pharaoh’s army—all past men and women of faith, stood their ground and proved God mighty and merciful—a deliverer for those who trust and obey.

Study Hebrews chapter eleven and see how all those before us looked towards what we now have in our personal Savior and Lord Christ Jesus. How dare we neglect such a great salvation and walk in error, messing up our relationship with the living God by putting our faith in nothing else but Christ.

In James we are encouraged to count it all joy in a trial, which does not mean that we pretend fear and anxious feelings away by conjuring up a false bravado. Rather, we take ownership of those “lack of peace” feelings and come before the Lord asking him to show us why we so easily melted in fear and unbelief.

We must learn that standing firm in a trial (even if we feel like fleeing) works to our benefit. Many struggle in a trial, fretting, complaining, acting out fear, and jumping on a false deliverance and not waiting for Christ to open the door of escape. Those who practice a “self-survival Christian walk” never learn and are in constant turmoil.

Eventually, God will abandon them to their own false walk as a Christian. It is for discipline that we must endure, “If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children” (Hebrews 12:8).

Learn to take advantage of your trials, and you will understand why James states that being steadfast will a, “full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

It is a Matter of Heart

If our hearts fail us in a trial, then we have issues of heart that are weighing us down. Love of this world, the pleasures of this life, fear of dying, relationship idolatry, bitter resentment and so forth are issues of heart that we must have healed and cleansed. If the cares of this life cling to us, then we must learn how to die to those inner hidden reefs of unbelief and wounds to our spirit that drive our passions of the flesh. These issues are what push our own self-deliverance schemes into action.

Most Christians are not drunkards of wine; however, masses of deceived believers are drunk on the blessings from God in this life. Relationships, events, work, ministry, children, grandchildren, vacations, a new car, dining out, and most of these cares are related to the love of money.

Christians use God’s blessings on earth to suppress their unbelieving issues of heart. We often become sentimental and romanticize our past blessings and develop a lust for potential future blessings. Worried about being comfortable in this life, we become blind to the world and its perverse culture.

The world and a backslidden Church constantly spews defiling spiritual toxins, lulling us into apathy. All this is amplified by the many false teachers with their doctrines of men and demons that easily confuse and sift us, attempting to destroy our faith in Christ.

False teachings rule in our hearts because we have never allowed the Lord to show himself in our trials, where we become grounded in God’s written word, building all of life upon all of Christ’s words.

Christ’s harder teachings are glossed over or ignored leaving our hearts naïve and vulnerable to the wiles of the devil, and his imposters in leadership. False teachers give us permission to stay in love with this world. In this dark hour most Christians hate true servants who warn to flee the cares of this life and walk in purity of heart.

Most Christians cling to the cares of this life and refuse to walk away from the love of this world. The coming persecution and Great Tribulation will force deceived believers to give up the love of this world and become rapture ready, not looking back on this life whatsoever!

Lot and his wife should have walked away from Sodom long before angels of the Lord had to be dispatched to rescue them. Even then, Scripture states that Lot lingered and had to be drug out by the arm by his angelic guests. Of course, we know the story of Lot’s wife, how she looked back and was judged for her disobedience.

Have you ever wondered why she looked back despite the command? Was it her sentimental fondness of the good times in a vile culture, or her unbelief that questioned God’s promised judgment upon the wicked? As believers in these last moments of this age, we better understand why Jesus said, “Remember Lot’s wife.” Study Luke 17:22-37.

Last days Christians must learn to stop worrying about what’s in their wallet and deal with what’s in their heart. The message from heavenly angels in this hours is: “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues” (Revelation 18:4).

Indeed, it is a matter of heart in developing an enduring faith or lack thereof. We must allow our hearts to be full of God’s love and grace to persevere and trust Christ in the coming troubles.

What’s hidden in your heart can sabotage strength and your victory.  “Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!” (2 Corinthians 13:5).

Trials help us examine our faith. Enduring trials victoriously will develop strength of faith to guide and glide us through the coming storms, because Christ will be formed in us. It is Christ alone that is our strength. He is to be to us like Noah’s Ark, to ride in Him above the last days tribulations—safe and secure in His everlasting arms.

Becoming a Midnight Cry Servant

Excerpt from next book—Midnight Cry Awakening

by Charles Pretlow 02/01/2018

The Birth Pangs and Wilderness Training

With Trump’s election win, the visible Christian church is growing smugger and arrogantly bolder. Yet, as the birth pangs increase, with persecution on the rise, and the USA politically and culturally divided, few can completely push away the ominous sense of doom.

Few Christians realize that this current economic boom is the last gasp before judgement. It will be a snare for the foolish Christian.

Jesus warned there would prosperity coupled with national disasters, distress of the nations, and rising persecution just before the hammer falls. A few noted national Christian leaders are finally venturing to say judgment for America is looming.

Anne Graham Lotz, in a recent interview in Decision magazine was quoted, “When you sin, and you refuse to repent, God backs away, You don’t repent and you continue to sin and you become defiant, and He backs away further until in the end, God just turns you over to yourself. That’s where America is today. Look at the end of Romans 1. He’s just backed away from us, turned us over to ourselves. As they say, ‘America, how’s that working for you?’”

Lotz also warns severe judgment has already started. “And I’m talking about something like a nuclear strike, an earthquake that splits us in two, an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) attack that devastates our electrical grid. Something major that would be a game-changer for America, because we are so defiant and rebellious and idolatrous and immoral, and we know better.”

Unfortunately, Lotz warnings are not strong enough, they are too little and too late. Anyone warning on the national scene like Lotz, will be muffled because they lack the full impact of Christ and the Apostle’s prophesies concerning this very hour.

Pillow prophets, who hear noted evangelicals like Anne Graham Lotz, will pounce and douse these warnings and decry those who warn as dooms day loose cannons. The false will continue to minimize warnings, by declaring that they are misinterpreting Scripture. However, true bonds servants of Christ will soon be releasing warnings and they will backed by the power of God and solid expounding of Biblical prophecy. Then the pillow prophets will be muzzled and egged faced.

Until then, the false will counter-act warnings and relieve any distress that might wake up Christians. They declare that these troubles are not birth pangs of the coming Kingdom of God, but rather God shaking people awake and preparing for another grand awakening that will save America.

The following is an excerpt from our next book, Midnight Cry Awakening God’s Final Call Upon the End-of-this-Age Sleeping Church. God is looking to raise up true servants of Christ who will work in the coming midnight cry awakening. This final move of God will facilitate and lead into the last days final harvest.

This portion of the book will help you understand what a true bond servant of Christ must act like from the heart.

From A Follower and Disciple, to a Bond Servant of Christ

Following Christ is a radical change in all of life, and many relatives and family members may oppose such a move. Often disciples may find, like Peter, that they love work, people, and family more than they love Christ. These issues must be dealt with.

When these issues are cleared up in the heart of a disciple, Christ will personally restore in manifold measure homes and significant relationships with proper boundaries, unless a relationship continues to live in sin, be abusive, and reject the Gospel, in that case the person may be evil and must be avoided entirely.

The alternative is: if we do not leave the emotional and sometimes physical hold others have on us, we will not succeed in obtaining the grace of God and run the risk of falling away from Christ, potentially, losing eternal life.

When you have gone through this sanctification process—where you put to death the deeds of the body by the Holy Spirit— the abundant joyful life in Christ is yours, a life in which you are safe, where Satan can’t blackmail or tempt you beyond your strength since the passions of the flesh are now crucified. “… for if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God” (Romans 8:13-14).

This is the life of a true disciple—always carries in the body the death of Christ, so the life of Christ is manifest through him or her and bestowed upon others. This is a life where rivers of pure and living water, the Holy Spirit, flows through you and out to others.

Living water life full of wisdom, boldness, surety, confidence in God—that dares not rely on self. Discernment will be keen to judge evil from good, and solid faith to move mountains, and not glorifying self in the process.

Your life will be a life of prayer and humility. You will not care about the appearance of righteousness, but you will live righteously from the heart. You will not put on a pretense of righteousness to make sinners feel lost. You will share your faith graciously without manipulation, pressure, or haughtiness. You will not waste time on liars, game players, and hypocrites. You will pray things through and then watch God’s will come to pass, since that is what God asked you to pray. You will live daily to do God’s will above all else. You will not have an attitude of working for God but rather a rest in God where His Spirit works through you to get His agenda done—not yours or man’s.

This new life is the life of grace that comes only by the work of the cross and the baptism of fire. The cross brings to death our mixed motives—those hidden motives that drive us to serve God for our own exaltation and glory.

The desires of the flesh are in check now that your personal spirit is no longer tied to the old nature. You will be able to put off the old nature that is like your former way of life because your inner mind, heart, and spirit have been transformed, renewed, cleansed and healed.

Your heart and mind will be set on heaven and fighting for God’s will to be done on earth, above all else! Abiding in Christ comes when our inner issues and carnal agendas die, and we rest in the presence of God.

We become trained to be aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit even when actively engaged in earthly tasks and conversation with others.

You will know the will of God and fight for it. You will suffer the sufferings of Christ as you stand in the gap for those people in your life that God desires to set free. Your body will manifest the effects of this spiritual warfare in the form of aches, pains, mishaps and sometimes strange accidents—but always ending with God’s healing and strengthening.

Emotional and spiritual oppression will come and go as you stand in the gap warding off Satan’s attacks against those he holds captive—while all through the battle, you will be sustained and strengthened by Christ until victory is achieved.

Your life will not be fanatical and religious. The lost and weak Christian will feel safe to confess sins and ask for prayer and counsel. You will be stable, strong, caring, frank, loving, firm, courageous, meaningful, non-threatening, encouraging, sober; yet, fun-loving, childlike but mature, slow to speak, having words full of wisdom and grace, intolerant toward evil and evil people but patient with sinners, the brethren, and those who are weak.

Say, this is how Jesus walked! “… he who says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked” (1 John 2:6).

You will not be afraid to confront evil and stand up for righteousness, even in the face of persecution. You will be proactive in your continued sanctification, ever pressing on to the high call of God in Christ Jesus. You will rejoice and not panic when trouble sweeps the land, even when afflictions strike home. You will be a pillar for loved ones to gather around for support and strength.

You will know how and when to say “no” to those who flatter and use you. You will avoid doing for others what they need to do for themselves. You will wean out the game players after a season of support, knowing that Christ, not you, must now become their everything. You will learn to catch flattery and not let it deceive you. You will learn to die to the work God gives you, so you can hand it to your replacement when God calls you to other things or take a break before starting something new.

People will see your strength, seek your help, and ask you to pray for them. You will learn to graciously but firmly tell those who seek your counsel what they need to hear not what they would like to hear in the flesh. You will stick to your word even if it personally turns out for the worst.

Satan will know that he cannot buy you, blackmail you, pressure you, or intimidate you. Demons will know you as a true enemy. They will harass you and attack you so your victories and accomplishments in Christ will not puff you up.

You will know you are a soldier for Christ whose heart and treasures are in heaven, and you will fight in the “war of the universe” that never ends until that Great Day—Christ’s appearance. You will understand the cost and be willing to lay down all glory for your King. In all of this, you will become a true disciple of Christ and walk as He walked. You will overcome, endure to the end, and be saved!

All that I have written here is in Scripture. It is obtainable! The old nature can and must be dealt with through Christ in His discipline and His leadership. Grace will abound, and sin will no longer have dominion over you. You will succeed in crucifying the deeds of the old self, maintain power over the old nature, and be at rest, ready to meet the Lord in physical death or at His appearance.

God will do mighty and terrible things when His leaders and workers, His remnant, have been thoroughly cleansed—when they walk as Christ walked.

What will the Lord do when this purification is complete? “Then I will draw near to you for judgment; I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow and the orphan, against those who thrust aside the sojourner, and do not fear me, says the Lord of hosts” (Malachi 3:5). And, “Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, and make holiness perfect in the fear of God” (2 Corinthians 7:1).

The Lord will have at His disposal a mighty army who will demonstrate the true power of God as they gather souls in the final great harvest!

This is the time to get ready, dig deep, get right with God, and allow Him to crucify the works of the flesh within you. Let Him lay bare your motives, thoughts, and intentions of the heart. Embrace His discipline now so you be used of Him, and may stand at His coming.
