Enduring to the End

For the new year: Persecution, Hatred, Anarchy, Betrayal, Racism, and more falling away!

by Charles Pretlow 1/26/17

trump_inauguration_protests“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.  And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:9-14).

Are we ready to endure the next wave of end-of-this-age chaos?

The election of Trump may slow down some of the nightmarish changes leading to the coming new world order, however, the backlash from the disgruntled from this election loss is igniting a powerful wave of lawlessness (anarchy) and hate. Unable to politically oppose new policies, far left money is now being funneled into organized protests, riots, and lawlessness pushing for tantrum politics to enact change and keep the creep of globalism to speed on.

Who is really behind all this, it is none-less than the mysterious man of lawlessness. We must be following Christ and obeying Him, and embrace all that he taught—starting now! The rapture will not rescue us from the coming troubles that are reaching a boiling point.

You and I will witness the chaos that ushers in the coming New Order World Leader

The Apostle Paul was explicit, the man of lawless will be revealed before the Lord’s appearance: “Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God….  For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.  And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-8).

Christians are deceived and asleep concerning this hour and the coming gross darkness. Most are spell bound because of their love for this world. They are oblivious to the mysterious patterns of lawlessness that is ever increasing in frequency and intensity.

It’s all leading to the satanic inspired rebellion!

Like Korah in the wilderness stirring up rebellion to oppose Moses, the mystery of lawlessness will stir up rebellion and anarchy. This is how evil gains political power over the soft-passive minds of the masses, including Christians who live at ease, carelessly prancing through life. Trouble and chaos forces the naïve to follow false leadership, and on the other hand  the trouble will awaken many true Christians and millions of lost to embrace the Gospel in its entirety.

So, in God’s faithfulness  will continue to allow tribulation to increase just as Scripture decrees, to wake up his people, that they might become ready to endure to the end.

Unfortunately, the foolish Christian under the many false doctrines and misguided leaders will continue to fall away from God, where their love toward God, Christ and his Gospel will grow icy cold.

Ministry Vision — A Roadmap of Faith

Twenty-Eight Years of Preparation and Team Development        by Charles Pretlow 12/08/16

A Look at HCompass with needle pointing the word vision with blur effect plus blue and black tones. Conceptual image for immustration of company or business anticipation or strategyow Far We Have Come and the Next Phase

In 1988 our counseling ministry was established as a “faith” ministry—somewhat of a pilot program in a Foursquare fellowship in the Puget Sound region of the Pacific Northwest.  I was appointed the counseling pastor with no salary, receiving some occasional help from love offerings taken on my behalf by the senior pastor.

Each counselee was encouraged to give an honorarium at the end of each session, based on what he or she could afford. Sometimes a counselee would give items such as fresh salmon or other food items (usually just when we needed such). As word of mouth spread, my appointment calendar grew dramatically. Conflicts arose and eventually we had to start our own non-denomination home fellowship, preaching the Gospel, and gearing the work to help wounded Christians recover (God’s way) by offering counseling during the week.

Going independent was primarily due to the false teachings embraced by the senior pastor and the Foursquare denomination, which hindered the counselees from embracing sound doctrine that helps believers become cleansed of past defilements and wounds to the spirit in the discipline of God’s grace.

During this startup period for the counseling portion of our ministry, I received a vision from the Lord: One evening while seeking the Lord about the strenuous counseling work load, a vision came to my mind’s eye, where thousands upon thousands of Christians were languishing in darkness, deceived by false doctrine and hopelessly wandering. The gist of the vision was that a multitude of Christians had no hope of recovery concerning their emotional and mental instability, or become able to walk in the fullness of Christ.  In the vision, the need to help became overwhelming—and at that moment I thought to myself, and as a prayer to the Lord, “No way, I can’t do this!”

Then I heard the distinct voice of the Lord, “Will you do this for me?” Almost immediately I responded, “That’s not fair.” However, almost instantly after that rebuff to the Lord I realized—how could I say no to the Lord, thus I gave in.

Funny, but through the years since that vision, I have learned that there is no way that one individual counselor, one ministry or even a ministry consortium could handle the workload required to help so many. It is logistically and administratively impossible to help so many of God’s people overcome buried wounds and defilements that result in double mindedness (dividedness).

Praise be to God. The Holy Spirit as Counselor, Comforter, and Spirit of Truth is quite apt in healing, restoring, and regenerating life to a believer’s soul and spirit by healing a wounded spirit, damaged emotions and mental turmoil. He is present with every believer simultaneously, 24/7. However, the problem is: not many understand God’s word and the biblical principles to help them learn to cooperate and work out God’s recovery program, which leads to wholeness and the fullness of Christ.

 Twists and Turns

Like following a map that required compass readings at key waypoints, the Lord revealed at the right time what step to take and which direction to go. Sometimes it seemed we were being led away from the original vision, only to see the Lord’s wisdom and timing unfold, paving the way for the development of a resource or when it was time to procure a facility here in Canon City.

For over three years we have been praying and seeking the Lord about working with the local shelter to bring Christ to those in crisis and provide biblical counsel to those who would call upon Jesus. Again, at the Lord’s timing, this October one of our team members was hired to become the homeless shelter director. Another ministry partner was already there working as the receptionist—within a month the ministry gained access to help those in crisis and those struggling with life. Most importantly, we are learning what not to do by recognizing the missteps made by the current shelter system. Our vision of starting a complete Christ centered recovery program that works is now beginning take shape. This program will end up being taught to likeminded ministries as the Lord leads.

Millions of Believers at Risk of Losing-It

We have an urgent mandate to have all these teachings and resources in place ready to go. There is no time to waste, yet we must wait for God’s timing. This means we must advance steadily in doing what we know is God’s will for the moment. We desire God’s people to be ready, to be awake and prepared to work in the coming harvest of souls, which includes helping God’s wounded overcome.

Jesus warns believers concerning the last days that the end will mysteriously spring upon all. The unprepared will fall into a trap if they do not get ready, as Christ instructed: “Stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36). And in Matthew the Lord warns: “But the one who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:13).

Continuous sobriety—with true spiritual, emotional, and mental strength is the only way to escape the coming troubles and endure to the end—until the rapture. This straight forward exhortation from the Lord is the only way we are to walk so that we may endure to the end.

Unfortunately, passivity, instability, false peace and false security are what most believers suffer today. I have discovered that many who want to be ready are God’s wounded. Most wealthy, healthy, and prosperous believers see no need to embrace Christ’s warnings and obey all that He taught, but rather most reject sound doctrine and choose false teachings that put them at ease. “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths” (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

Many who are in this non-ready state will be the first ones to lose it—they will emotionally and mentally crumble and fall victim to the end of the age trap set by the devil and his workers who are disguised as servants of righteousness. Many who are unprepared will head to the world for sustenance, protection, and comfort from the coming tribulation. (Metaphorically, these did not carry enough oil for their lamps. See the parable of the ten maidens in Matthew 25.)

Fortunately, in great mercy, the Lord will bring a true awakening and healing to his wounded just in time that they may become ready and endure.

Our work in bringing forth these Biblical principles for true recovery is just one of many ministries hid out in the wilderness of preparation, ready to be launched into the spotlight by the power of His might. These ministries will be used to bring forth sound doctrine that the Holy Spirit can use to facilitate healing, recovery, maturity—helping restore the body of Christ to her full potential, beauty, and unity.

With this awakening, there will come a great chasm between the ready and the not ready, between the deceived and the awake. There will be a clear distinction between those who fall away yet stay in churchianity, and those who are true to the Lord and endure to the end and not sell out.

Many will become ready, as tempered and refined ministries launch out under God’s power to warn and equip those who have an ear to hear and faith to act.

Years of Preparation:

Maturing through Learning, Training, Stepping Out in Faith, and Doing

Over these many difficult years, we have learned firsthand about discernment, evil people, the false, and the demonic, how to walk in the true gifts of the Holy Spirit, crucifying the works of the flesh (carnal passions and desires), and how to minister to God’s wounded without keeping them weak and dependent—so they learn to walk in faith, able to move their own mountains in God’s power.

In addition, video broadcasting, post editing, book publishing, ministry administration, systems engineering, managerial organization, along with facility procurement and project planning and implementation have all been disciplines the Lord has led us to venture into, learning as we go. All to allow this work to stand independent of hirelings who might very well shipwreck this work. We, as the core team had to step out in faith and learn the ropes and know who to work with and how to get things done right with the least cost.

Just last week a local pastor asked Pastor Mark how we are funded, and he answered simply, “The Lord.” And that is how it all started years ago—by faith with no formal backing from any denomination or rich benefactor. Rather, by individuals called by God to help in so many ways. Yes, we learned to hang on by the skin of our teeth, making do with very little as it came in by the grace of God. At times, I held down a retail job while in ministry and I am currently using my social security monthly income to help support the work. Pastor Mark and his wife invested their life savings, as they hold down full time jobs, as do the other team members work other jobs and then volunteer their extra time to help sustain the ministry.

At times, we thought it would all crash down around our ears as each of us endured fiery trials that tested our faith, keeping us humble and walking in fear and trembling.

We have ministry partners all around the world, yet it is still just a handful who are moved by the Lord to consistently stay the course with us, to pray and send in donations as best as they can. As a team, we have learned to live on the edge with Christ, and we continue to learn as we go—yes, we are common uneducated men and women who mean business with our Lord to fulfil His call upon our lives. (See Acts 4:13.)

We have held our ground and refuse to tamper with the Gospel message, as the Apostle Paul put it: “Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God’s word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God” (2 Corinthians 4:1-2).

 Ministry Transition Team in Place

The Lord has been faithfully adding likeminded and gifted team members to this work. People who have a call and burden to minister to God’s wounded and facilitate true discipleship. Without going into boring details, every key position of administration and ministry leadership is being filled by the Lord. These fellow team members are experienced in managing, training, and delegating work to new staff team members as is needed. As mentioned, each team member volunteers time and supports this work financially.

Jump Start Life and Overcoming Through Christ

The last projects we are working hard to complete is the pilot program we mentioned in a previous blog—that being the Jump Start Life in Christ curriculum for the local homeless shelter and for those in severe crisis. Currently two of our team members are working at the local food bank and homeless shelter implementing this new program. When this six-week pilot program is completed we will write and publish a corresponding workbook as one of our resources for recovery. The other important resource that we are almost ready to publish is our main recovery workbook: Overcoming Through Christ God’s Recovery Program. This resource is already being used as our curriculum for our weekly recovery meetings. (These resources for helping the wounded recovery is developed by over 28 years of ministry experience, counseling, and study.)

It is important for each partner reading this post to know we are facing some real spiritual opposition, delays, and financial bumps as we press on to finish these two projects. We feel that these two programs currently under development are the last bit of work to be done before this ministry is released into the next phase. We believe the Lord is encouraging us to continue hang in there as we battle to become ready for the next phase.

Day of Visitation

Jesus rebuked Israel for not knowing her time of visitation. Likewise, Christians today are aloof to the coming hour of God’s visitation upon the world and Christianity. That hour of our final visitation is looming.

The coming days will see more devastating earthquakes, other natural catastrophes, distress of the nations, racial unrest breaking out into lawlessness with gang vigilante assaults between ethnic communities. The bitterness over the election of Donald Trump will continue as political opponents stoke the fires of hatred, paranoia, and continue to frame America as a culture of inequality. Christianity will continue to pretend America and the world will eventually settle down.

Most Christians are stuck in the devil’s end of the age passive stupor. Only a few will wake up, yet God in his mercy will visit his people one more time using his true servants to bring forth the message of “Wake up and come away from the false,” while crying out: “Christ’s return is at the doorstep!”

Many will ignore the warnings that will come with this visitation. Too many are dull to hear due to the incessant rantings from false alarmists, false prophets with dates, and false movements. So, now with the visitation about to spring forth—millions of Christians will ignore, belittle, and undermine this visitation, right as the midnight cry awakening begins in earnest—just as the priests, Pharisees, and scribes attacked and downplayed Christ first coming during Israel’s visitation.

Use the remaining time wisely and store your treasures in heaven, for without an obedient relationship with Christ, founded in Christ-like character, birthed and grown by the Lord’s discipline—you can expect terrible difficulties that could have been averted.

It is our call and mission to continue to warn and bring forth sound doctrine to help the hearer become ready—God’s way!

Your Continue Prayers and Financial Support

As we move into the next phase of this work, your continued help is vital. We want to thank each of you for your prayers, support, and patience. This time of the year is most difficult, but we trust the Lord will sustain you and direct you in ministry. and Lord willing share any extra resources to help us continue. It is our goal to continue to provide sound doctrine that addresses the needs of God’s people as the end of this age approaches.

We will not tell people what is soothing so we can stay funded by imploring church hoppers and Christian game players to attend, but rather bring forth the truth and help those we reach to become true disciples of Christ, equipped to fulfill God’s call to the ministry He ordains for each.

God bless each of you as we all look forward to 2017 and the opportunities to restore sound doctrine to the body of Christ—while there is still time.

Living on the Edge with Christ

Becoming His Workmanship to Rescue His Lost Sheep    by Charles Pretlow 11/23/16

For surf-boat2by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Most Christians don’t realize that their faith is being suffocated in our culture, as the cares of this life and lust for prosperity act as anchors, dragging the many into a complacent religious rabble. Even most sincere Christians have fallen out of sync with the Holy Spirit’s leading and power to accomplish God’s will on earth. The body of Christ in the American culture needs to be rescued from carnal works, lethargy, and passivity, and very soon—before the Great Tribulation begins.

Clustered, Pampered and Confused

False and carnal leaders have brought forth powerful teachings inspired by hell that has herded millions of Christians into amalgamated groups or clusters that follow their favorite celeb teacher. Just as the Apostle Paul wrote to the Christians in Corinth: “I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.  For it has been reported to me by Chloe’s people that there is quarreling among you, my brothers. What I mean is that each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.”  Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?” (1 Corinthians 1:10-13).

And Paul wrote to Timothy prophesying this: “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,  and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths” (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

Today, Christians are told what they want to hear to suit their own passions, mostly along the lines of how to lead an elitist religious-supernatural life that produces inner peace and outer prosperity. Few are instructed on how to give themselves to the lordship of Christ and “to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ” (Ephesians 4:15).

Little semblance of unity is found in the body of Christ, rather Christians gather in splintered activism groupings where church leadership keep most Christians in a strange sectarian state of confusion—pushing and pursuing pet projects and carnal outreach campaigns that produce false conversions—all to increase support and raise funds.

In this pathetic condition, few within the American portion of the body of Christ ever become prepared for the work of ministry, to be used of God to work with the downtrodden, the wounded, and the lost.

God has many good works in mind for the everyday saint to walk in, however, few are taught to enter God’s discipline and training program to become qualified. Instead, most believers warm the bench on the sidelines or dodge the work of ministry by hiding in the bleachers cheering on glorified leaders as they minister to the healthy and the wealthy. On the other hand, millions of naïve Christians become carnally energized in hyper faith movements, blindly serving leadership’s agenda—certainly not learning to be led by the Holy Spirit.

Spectator Saints Equipped to Applaud and Excel in Praise and Worship

False teachers and gimmick teachings abound, pulpiteers deliver moving sermons that lack practical theology and the meat of the word, Christian literature overflows the market place with celebrity authors pronouncing new revelations on how to obtain a blessed Christian life, or learn the secret Biblical keys to prosperity. Thousands throng to conferences, paying hundreds of dollars to secure a seat to sit under thrilling speakers. All in the hopes to receive a download of the anointing from a famed apostle or prophet.

Few Christians trapped in these last days counterfeit-toxic ministries ever wake up from the devil’s spell. Most are content to continue as spectators watching favorite leaders, learning to applaud and say amen when the message resonates with a disguised passion of the flesh. Myths and magic-thinking teachings prosper throughout the body of Christ creating a false spiritual aura and conjuring up good vibrations from their own spirit—all to resound in beautiful and harmonious praise and worship. The saints are ministered to over and over, pampered and appeased only to create addicts to the next moving message, fellowship event, or a thrilling praise and worship encounter.

Few are given a steady diet of sound doctrine that includes the message of the cross (dying to the passions and desires of the flesh,) along with teachings on how to embrace God’s everyday discipline that produces Christ-like character within. Few learn how to become equipped for work of ministry in everyday living—growing up into Christ no longer spectators—but equipped workers in God’s vineyard.

Submitting to the Discipline of the Lord in becoming God’s First Responders

It Is hard and often messy work in helping God’s sheep who struggle in life, mentoring on learning to work with Christ in true recovery and on to maturity. Many are down and out, wounded and defiled, suffering from a sin ridden life. Many in this condition still have faith and are willing to come to Christ but are unable to get started on their own. They need a jump start. They need to encounter one of God’s trained first responders—a Christian worker properly equipped for work of the ministry—effective ministry that empowers the faith of the wounded to seek Christ wholeheartedly and how to overcome instability.

Jesus made it clear in his story of the good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) that everyone that loves God will demonstrate love towards his or her neighbor—not just the friendly unsaved neighbor next door, but anyone within reach who needs a helping hand to get back on their feet. No greater witness there is than extending the love that God has put within us for those suffering. Few are trained in Christ’s school of ministry to work with discernment and true compassion, giving a jump start but not dispensing toxic charity that keep the wounded dependent. Certainly, these last days are proving that the powers of darkness are working feverishly to quell true discipleship.

Not an Easy Road—God Demands we be Disciplined by His Hand

(Study Hebrews 12:3-17)

I joined the Marine Corps in 1969 in great physical condition, I had just finished my freshman year of college football. Even then I was not ready for the mental and emotional stress that our drill instructors handed out. On boot camp graduation day, while still in our barracks, all three of our drill instructors stood in front of our platoon as the senior DI said the following: “We were hard on you because all three of us have been to Viet Nam. And we’ve seen too many body bags—if you hesitate in following orders, you’ll get killed or you’ll get your buddy killed.” This was said with tears in their eyes. I have never forgotten their sincerity.

Years later my oldest son enlisted in the Coast Guard. He described his training and it blew me away—I thought the Marines were tough but this branch of service is in the business of saving people in peril of severe weather and fighting treacherous seas.

Later in his service he was stationed on the Oregon coast and became a rescue surfboat coxswain (driver). Please note the picture I added—there is absolutely no room for the slightest mistake when attempting to rescue people on ships and boats floundering on the river bar or on the ocean. Absolute perfect team work is required and is accomplished through continuous extensive and exhaustive training.

Leadership throughout the body of Christ are called to equip the saints for true team work in ministry—continuously— “until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13).

The discipline and training that the military provides is certainly appropriate to be used as an external point of reference concerning our walk of faith with Christ. Contemplate how Jesus responded to the faith of the Roman centurion whose servant was ill.

Now a centurion had a servant who was sick and at the point of death, who was highly valued by him.  When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his servant. And when they came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, ‘He is worthy to have you do this for him, for he loves our nation, and he is the one who built us our synagogue.’ And Jesus went with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. Therefore, I did not presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be healed. For I too am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”  When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.” And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the servant well” (Luke 7:2-10).

When we enlist in Christ’s school of ministry, every aspect of our carnal nature, self-power, and selfish motives will be put to the test so that Christ-like character transformation can take place. Both the Apostle Peter and James describe trials as fiery ordeals where the devil will come in force to draw out our hidden issues, and expose the cowards, quitters, and glory hounds.

Being used of God, as described in the following passage demands that we grow up and walk in the power of God, having Christ formed within us. “But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, ‘In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.’ It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. And have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh” (Jude 1:17-23).

Are you coasting with your faith, passively watching as a spectator, or are you running on hyper-faith carnal energy? Hopefully, you have offered your life as a living sacrifice and straining to become disciplined and trained by His hand—to live on the edge—as a first responder serving our Lord in rescuing his lost sheep in the power of His might?

Pray that the Lord of the harvest train and send workers into the harvest.

Mind Crippling and Paralyzing Fear is Coming

The “NO FEAR” generation is about to experience a rude awakening!      by Charles Pretlow 11/10/16

“And theno-fear-notre will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken” (Luke 21:25-26).

The stage is set for the fulfillment of Christ’s prophetic warning for this last generation. Over the last thirty years or so, the American culture, including most Christians have arrogantly ignored or downplayed the looming signs that clearly point to the end of this age. For believers, various false teachings about what the end of this age will look like, along with the pre-tribulation rapture lie, has helped anesthetize millions upon millions of Christians into a complete zombie state—a dead sleep—just as Jesus described in the parable of the ten maidens (Matthew 25:1-13).

When the Berlin wall fell and the cold war ended, a subtle blanket of “world peace euphoria” enveloped America and much of the western world. However, over the last twenty years another cold war has subtly arose under the radar of most Americans and most Christians—few realize the significance of the military aggression of Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran. Of course, all the Christian false alarmists decrying the rapture will occur on a certain date along with the conspiracy theorists who incite paranoia with false warnings have added to the numbing process. Jesus also warn about these false prophets and false prognosticators.

The rise of Muslim extremists warring against Israel, Christians, and the west is considered the last obstacle blocking world peace. Few see the world being positioned by satanic powers of darkness preparing to ignite worldwide Armageddon.

Now, as the world begins adjusts to a new political power structure in America, Christians and the more conservative and moralists in American are beginning to breathe a sigh of relief.

Don’t be fooled, this coming next five to eight years is the lull leading up to the end of this age perfect storm. Not only are the enemies of America, Christianity, and Israel frothing to spill into more cultural unrest, anarchy, and terrorism—earthquakes, natural disasters, and the roaring of the seas are going to increase in giant leaps of magnitude and frequency.

Thus, most Christians will still stay asleep and ignore the signs that Christ clearly described that point to the end of this age, where international perplexities and the upheaval of nature will slowly begin to strike fear in the hearts of the masses. There is a crescendo to these coming tempests, where God’s faithfulness is demonstrated with these terrible shakings to restore the fear of God for those who still have a heart for God and an ear to hear—before sudden destruction falls.

More shaking and turmoil is coming, which is God’s last attempt to awaken His people and His lost sheep. Christ’s servants will be released to shout the midnight cry. Many Christians are about to wake up and find themselves not ready. False peace has fallen like a spellbinding mist even though the end is near, just as the Apostle Paul described:

Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him. Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing” (1 Thessalonians 5:1-11).

We must grow up into salvation, walk in a healthy fear God with all humility, keeping our nerve as these things unfold. We must learn to abide in Christ (the true Christ) and learn to discern and obey the leading of the Holy Spirit—in doing these things we will be awake, strong, and ready to endure all these things and stand before Him at His coming.

“But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36).

Charismatic Counterfeit Upheaval

Satan is about to Throw Deceived Charismatic Christians Under the Bus

by Charles Pretlow 9/30/16

The Charismatic movement with its so-called waves of increased manifestations over the years has captivated millions of naïve believers. The Charismatic approach to spreading the Gospel of Christ attracts new believers looking for a spiritual buzz and spiritual power.

A spiritual buzz to quell the nagging issues within the heart due to impurities and unbelief that accompany a double-minded condition. And spiritual power to influence and impose the will of self upon others supernaturally. All in the name of Christ.

Over the many decades this Satanic Trojan horse scheme of Charismatic counterfeiting has been truly successful. Few within the Charismatic camp of the body of Christ see this angel of light deception in its fullness and the insidious deceit that blinds so many.

You might be questioning my knowledge and insight concerning this evil work upon so many of God’s people. To put you at ease, I was involved in the very foundation of this satanic treachery in the mid-seventies and then later in the early nineties when the Lord led me out of this deception and disciplined me to walk in the true gifts of the Holy Spirit. (The details of this change of heart and growth in discernment will be included in the up and coming book – Midnight Cry Awakening God’s Final Call Upon The-End-of-This-Age Sleeping Church.)

Counterfeit Treachery Upon the Deceived

In the present state of the Charismatic movement, few will take any true warning to heart. God knows how deep this deception has become. This is all due to the widespread idolatry of spiritual power and the obsession with the anointing and anointed leadership—which has induced gross denial—blinding the deceived to behave like alcoholic binge drinkers.

Thus, the Lord in is his mercy is about to allow the devil and his counterfeiting minions to turn upon the many gullible who ingested false manifestations, believing it all to be the love, peace, and joy of the Lord. Soon, the false joy and false peace will dissipate and turn to dejection, confusion, and irrepressible inner angst.

These false manifestations that seem to have a Prozac-like influence upon the infected will change from sensuous feelings to tormenting emotional and physical pain accompanied with mental duress. In many cases the mental and emotional anxiety will drive the infected believer into hysteria and mental collapse. The quick fix gimmicks and carnal praise and worship that once quelled the inner turmoil will no longer have its normal soothing effects.

Tormenting demons have been subtly working all along, driving the deceived Charismatic Christians into the arms of the counterfeiting angel of light principalities, just as king Saul suffered for his disobedience and ill issues of heart. “Now the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and a harmful spirit from the LORD tormented him” (1 Samuel 16:14). Saul’s servants brought in David (the very cause of Saul’s jealous power hungry behavior) to play music to help soothe Saul’s torment. Eventually, Saul sought out direction from the Witch of Endor (divination and necromancy) in seeking direction and deliverance.

Few understand that the demonic is allowed to torment and harass believers to lead them to deal with impurities of heart, hidden defilements, and self-centered motives. A major work of the Holy Spirit upon a believer’s life is internal conflict, “For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do” (Galatians 5:17).

Since most Charismatic leaders tell their followers what they want to hear, prophesying only good, a hardened condition exists within the hearts of most Charismatics. To break this stubborn condition, many will soon suffer extreme torment where nothing will ease the oppression. The only relief will come by way of repentance and renouncing the false, then allowing the Holy Spirit to bring to light the true intentions of the heart for cleansing and transformation.

The current wave of manifestations consuming the Charismatic movement parallel eastern mysticism and various Hindu cult spiritual manifestations. An excellent read on these false manifestation taking hold of so many is by Andrew Strom. The book is entitled, KUNDALINI WARNING – Are False Spirits Invading the Church? Here is the Amazon link.

If you have been involved in these practices, seeking quick-fix deliverance and instant joy to cover hidden or denied issues, then I adamantly warn you to deal with these false manifestations and your wayward motives of heart.

You are welcome to contact our ministry for counsel and prayer.

For those in training to minister to the deceived as they wake up and seek help—keep pressing on to the high call of God in Christ Jesus. He will discipline and train you to become equipped to minister and mentor those willing to hear the truth.

Meltdown of Civility

Hate, Rage, Vitriol, Barbarism, and Corruption is Taking Over Societal Norms

by Charles Pretlow 6/15/16

anarchyBut understand this, that in the last days there will come times of stress.  For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profligates, fierce, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding the form of religion but denying the power of it. Avoid such people. 2 Timothy 3:1-6 RSV

Few Christians understand this prophetic warning given by the Apostle Paul. Most passively stroll through life flirting and even engaging in the last days’ dangers that are rapidly coming to America.

Unwilling to give up the belief that America will be saved from the Great Tribulation and the collapse of all civility, where the man of lawlessness rises to leadership out of the chaos of anarchy—instead most of God’s people drift along unprepared, in love with this present age. And still many more believers are arrogantly floating along carefree, fooled by the false doctrine that the rapture will come before all hell breaks loose. Study the following passages carefully:

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-5).

Further Jesus warned of the hour that is now upon us: “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved (Matthew 24:9-13).

Are You Prepared to Endure to the End?

The meltdown of civility is well on its way, where stress, lawlessness, hate, and savagery will increase and touch everyone as this age screams to its end. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way concerning how the end will play out and what Christ expects of his followers.

Few are taught by leadership and trained in the Lord’s discipline to detect and avoid the wicked disguised as good or to be led by the Holy Spirit to avoid and escape an evil event or an assault on one’s life. Even the majority of post-tribulation Christians—those who see all these things taking place and know they will have to be strong and prepared, lack the ability to endure to the end. Many of these solid believers think they are ready because they know the truth about the end. Unfortunately, knowing the truth about the end of this age does not prepare one to endure to the end.

Jesus warned specifically about having the strength to escape the end of the age catastrophes: “But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap.  For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:34-36).

Praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place does not mean that God will magically download power when you suddenly need it, praying at the last moment. Nor will God inundated you with spiritual manifestations that are supposedly from the Holy Spirit to magically destress and calm you. These activities and other acts of religiosity do not create inner strength of character or help develop an obedient and deep relationship with Christ that facilitates being led by the Holy Spirit in order to be protected and thus escape the terrible things that are already beginning.

To become ready is to become Christ-like in nature, not by self-power, but by the work of the Holy Spirit and the often difficult discipline of Christ, where the Word of God becomes a living and life changing force upon our being. We must work with God to build our lives upon the Solid Rock.

Jesus explained that a person who hears his words (all his teachings) and does not do them is like a foolish man who built his house upon sand. When the storms came, this man’s house was destroyed. Likewise, when the last days’ storms come pounding down upon everyone, those Christians who did not embrace and do all that Christ commands will find themselves in dire consequences. See Matthew 7:24-27.

Growing in Grace through Discipline in the Lord—to Discern, Avoid, and Escape

Not many Christians realize that persecution and coldblooded evil can suddenly be thrust upon them. The threat of physical harm is increasing everywhere just a Jesus and the Apostles warned. Few know how to walk in the Lord’s guidance, his grace, and his protection. Why?

Because most avoid the harder teachings of Christ and the sound teachings of the Apostles. Shortcuts are taken that bypass the discipline and trials ordained of God that breaks denial, wakes one up to their carnal issues, and transforms Christians to become Christ-like in nature. Most are taught to imitate and act like a Christian through self-effort, learning to mimic instead of becoming truly change in character by the hand of God. (See 2 Corinthians 3:18.)

Grace and holiness comes through the discipline of the Lord and this is what Christ meant in the type of strength that must garnered through a prayerful relationship with God. “It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?  If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.  Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live?  For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness.  For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it (Hebrews 12:7-11).

True Leadership

It is the fiduciary responsibility of every true leader and ministry to watchfully and effectively correct, challenge, and shepherd those in their care to become disciples of Christ and learn to be led by the Holy Spirit. However, most in leadership are in ministry for the money or to boost their ego.

Leadership everywhere in the body of Christ must realize and take to heart that they are held to a much higher obligation to the Lord and will have to give an account for their sinful attitudes and motives of heart in ministry and in life.

“Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you” (Hebrews 13:17).

“Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness (James 3:1).

An aspect of our ministry is to help ourselves and others prepare mentally, emotionally, and physically— as well as spiritually. Trained in the emotional, mental, and physical to avoid trouble and stop a physical threat that may be thrust upon us while on the streets, shopping, attending fellowship, or in the suppose safety of our homes. (We also teach those in our care how to detect false Christians and wolves who can socially and spiritually attack those in fellowship.)

Krav Maga is the training that we use to help prepare, avoid, escape, or stop a threat upon our lives physically. Unfortunately, as good as this type of martial art discipline is, it does not forewarn in advance of a threat. However, being trained and disciplined by the Lord and led by the true Holy Spirit affords protection and guidance, where the gifts of the Holy Spirit such as a word of knowledge, prophesy, or warning dream can warn days in advance to stay clear of an evil situation.

Because we have committed our lives to the discipline of the Lord and desire to embrace all that he commands, we have experienced deliverance by way of God’s direct intervention. Sometimes by the incarceration, or an affliction of evil doer opposing us, and even preemptive death has come upon an evil person sent by Satan to harm one of us. All to protect us and deliver us from evil and the evil one. Similar to when the Lord took out Ananias and Sapphira, or when the Holy Spirit used the Apostle Paul in blinding Elemis the magician, or by instant death of Herod by an angel of the Lord. (See Acts 12:20-23).

The End Will Not Come All at Once—A Call for Endurance in Persecution

Jesus also spoke of the end of this age in these terms: “See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them.  And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once… Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.  There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.  But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name’s sake.  This will be your opportunity to bear witness.  Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer, for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict.  You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death.  You will be hated by all for my name’s sake.  But not a hair of your head will perish.  By your endurance you will gain your lives (Luke 21:8-19).

Thankfully the end is taking its time. God is gracious and merciful in not allowing Satan to quickly create anarchy and chaos in melting down all civility and destroying the foundational fabric of a once stable society. Satan would like to see the end come all at once in order to capture a multitude of ignorant and unprepared Christians. To thrust them into the valley of decision stunned, gullible and unprepared that they might embrace the anti-Christ’s new world order and rulership.

Satan would like to not only take out the foolish Christians as explained in the parable of the ten maidens, but also capture as many sleeping wise maidens as possible, (sincere believers who are unprepared). Thus Christ in this parable warns, “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.” (See Matthew 25:1-13).

So these terrible times of persecution, stress, and lawlessness are dragged out in a slow progression by God’s grace and mercy. To create Christ-like character and instill the strength to endure, so that many wise but asleep Christians wake up, become ready so that their lives may be spared. To emphasize Christ word previously quoted: But the one who endures to the end will be saved -and- By your endurance you will gain your lives.

Naked and Exposed

Coming soon – an intense giving of account to the Lord for content of heart!

by Charles Pretlow 3/3/16

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account” (Hebrews 4:12-13).

Christian, brace yourself!

From the remnant bond-servants of Christ down to the lukewarm follower—a time of personal judgement is coming. A giving of account to the Lord is about to fall upon the whole of God’s people. The time for living in cheap grace is coming to end.

God is about to pour out pressure and circumstances that will lay bare the thoughts and intentions of the heart—for all to see. A formal thrashing is coming, “His winnowing fork is in his hand, to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire” (Luke 3:17).

A Stern Prophesy for those of have an Ear to Hear

God’s people, from the grandest of leader, down to the lowly church attendee, are all about experience a wave fiery trials that will expose the thoughts and intentions of the heart that will unnerve the saintly and terrify the lukewarm.

The affairs of this world are becoming more stressful, in some cases beyond measure. Now Israel and the Christians are in the crosshairs of worldwide hatred and persecution, and this outer pressure is ever growing in America (a nation founded on religious freedom). Satan has come down to make war on the saints knowing his time is short. The devil’s schemes should be obvious to every Christian, however; few see the hand writing on the wall.

Now, from the least to the greatest in the kingdom of God, this outside pressure of persecution from the world wrought on by devil will be internalized. God is about to allow hordes of demons to cut loose and bully, sift, oppress, and use hidden human devils disguised as Christian to harass and torture God’s people.

This prophetic warning describes the increase in the Lord’s last days threshing processes to purify His people. Yes, we have seen exposes´ and judgments upon wayward leaders and false teachers. However, much of the false teachers and predators in the pulpit have gotten a free pass to continue spreading false doctrines and myths to promote their agenda of self-glorification.

Why? Because God’s people love to hear the wide-gate and easy-way teachings that nullifies the painful conviction of the Holy Spirit concerning ill motives of heart, greed and frivolous living, carnal works, and love of this world.

The carnal and self-righteous believer is about to get a dose of fiery trial. False teachings and ill motives of heart in serving Christ will blow up in the face of every hypocrite and carnal believer—and the sincere saint will be driven completely into the arms of God the Father, to live as true bond-servants of Christ. No religious gimmick, false prophetic, or name-it and claim-it carnal hyper faith scheme will stand in this coming test.

God is determined to break denial and hardness of heart. This wave of fierce testing will seemingly be a never ending fire that will expose the true inner carnal character, defilements, and wicked motives to be seen for what they are. The double minded bitterly jealous believer will be forced to see in themselves as who they truly are within. The outer sham of Christian personality and varnished rotten character is about to be stripped away. Like the Apostle Peter, many will weep bitterly over being forced to see how shallow their love for Christ really is.

Know how to Endure and Benefit from this Coming Thrashing

The time for living dangerously with no thought to become tempered and ready is ending. God’s tough love discipline will fall heavy on all. Those with a good heart (like those Christ described in the parable of the sower) will embrace and endure this becoming naked process ordained by God.

Unfortunately, many will fall away from Christ entirely or turn to the end-of-this-age rising Ecumenical Apostate Church (the harlot church of Revelation). The valley of decision is coming to many who believe they are true-blue to our Lord, but have yet to sit down and count the cost of becoming a true disciple of Christ. (See Luke 14:25-35.)

It is one thing to warn, but more importantly, sound doctrine is to be provided on how to endure and reap the benefits of working with God in crucifying the works of the flesh. If you want to belong to Christ, then allow Christ to expose what is in your heart that is contrary to His heart and His nature.

Indeed, no creature is hidden from his sight, however, that is not my point or God’s purpose. Of course God knows all, right down to the very last issue. The problem is we do not see our hearts and inner character as He does. And it is up to us to submit to His discipline in daily living to see ourselves in the truth of His light.  Let His light shine deep into every fracture, crevice and ravine—holding nothing from Him or hiding your eyes from what His light reveals.

This can be accomplished by giving Him permission to expose within us what we can’t see and what we don’t want to see. When we make this kind of covenant with God, he will tenderly but firmly work truth into the hearts and minds of those who say, “Lord, do whatever it takes to show me, correct me, change and make me Christ-like.”

The key to endure this sanctifying process is learning the Biblical principles of sanctification and how to apply God’s Word appropriately, by His Spirit. This must be done sincerely and consistently with maximum effort in cooperation, as we humble ourselves under His mighty hand.

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.  Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.  And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.  To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen” (1 Peter 5:6-11).

Extreme accountability to the Master is the only way to get through this coming deluge of personal trials. He has a plan for each sincere follower of Christ, and it is up to each to discover that plan personally, obey Him in it, and fulfill it. In this sanctifying work, we cannot speed up this plan, but we can miserably slow it up by not learning how to cooperate.

 Likeminded Fellowship and Proper Accountability

Please take note: If you have ears to hear, playing it alone and staying a nomad Christian hiding in the wilderness will not benefit much longer. It is time to become committed to a likeminded fellowship. That may be impossible for you in your current circumstance. Start praying now to be connected and working in ministry with a likeminded fellowship or a group of committed Christians like yourself. Flee the apostate and lukewarm fellowship! In fact, run for your life as you flee.

If led by the Holy Spirit, we provide opportunity for online fellowship and resources to encourage you and give you support. What we preach and teach is the whole counsel of God and stems from years of training and discipline, often in the wilderness of obscurity.

As a team being raised up by the Lord, we provide weekly Thursday leadership and counseling classes in addition to our Sunday fellowship. You are certainly welcome to become part of our team. Watch here.

 More to Come

Look for more messages on this crucial work that the Lord is brining upon His people. It is our prayer to see each reader grow in true grace and Christ-like character.

Jesus warned of this hour, “But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap.  For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36).

Given Over to the Great Lie

Powerful last days deceptions—even causing the elect to be at risk

lies-truth“The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore, God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12).

2015 proved to be full of signs of the times as the end-of-this-age continues to race towards its finality. We see the continued building up of lies over truth in America, where multitudes of lost souls and Christians alike embrace distortions of truth and outright lies. All because people prefer what they are told, even if it is a lie. This is part of the activity of Satan in preparing the world and a multitude of Christians to whole heartily receive the anti-Christ, (the lawless one).

 The Mystery of Lawlessness

In politics, street protests, in education, in the corporate world—all across society a mysterious ground swell of illegal and immoral behavior grows. The ever increasing hatred of righteous grows as evil is called good, and good is called evil—and the righteous-moral seem totally impotent in stopping this tide of lawlessness. Now few dare to speak out lest they become targets from the enraged-deceived crowds and from the immoral who are in political power who exercise a strong public voice.

The Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians also explained how the mystery of lawlessness was already at work in his day, yet restrained from full manifestation until the appointed time. And we are racing towards that appointed time where the lawless one will be revealed. Unfortunately, because the increasing lawlessness has been subtle and slow in development (a deceitful work of the devil that has taken centuries to perfect), few believers see how the stage is almost completely set for the anti-Christ to step out in world view and bring forth the Great Lie.

The deception is growing captivating the masses including foolish Christians looking for anointed leaders who prophesy only good is coming and promise to straighten things out. In the end will these popular prophets and teachers will have only been used by Satan to groom many of God’s people to embrace the anti-Christ. Christ said of the coming deception, “For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect” (Matthew 24:24).

Indeed, the coming deception will be a spellbinding mystery as a multitude of on fire Christians as well as lukewarm believers, and especially apostate Christians become swept up with the false. Across all denominations and fellowships, Christians are becoming all the more charmed by false prophets who perform GREAT signs and wonders.

God is Testing His People

Enthralled with signs and wonders performed by special leaders, Christians everywhere ignore the word of God and pursue wolves in sheep clothing as intermediaries between them and Christ. Much like the Pope being elevated to the grand potentate go-between for Catholics and God.

Few Christians are taught to test the operating spirit over these idolized leaders who walk in great spiritual power. In the Old Testament, God warned his people thus:

If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us go after other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us serve them,’ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the LORD your God is testing you, to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him” (Deuteronomy 13:1-4).

Few are Taught to Fear God, Hear and Obey His Voice, and Hold Fast and Serve Christ Only

From the Baby Boomer Christian to the Millennial Christian, over the last forty years most have embraced (in a subtle progression) false teachings. Sound doctrine on being personally trained and disciplined by Christ himself has all but died out. False prophets and dreamers of false visions have taken God’s people into gross darkness where spiritual mysticism and magic thinking has become the modern Christ. Most Christians today are following a false Jesus created by false prophets and lying teachers who manufacture and sell a different Gospel than that of Scripture.

Few see the coming powerful deception that will come through manifest signs and wonders performed by the devil disguised as the power of God. The gradual obsession with the thrill of spiritual manifestations has led to the idolatry of signs and wonders as the lust for higher doses of sensuous spiritual experiences ever grows.

Even Greater False Spiritual Manifestations Are Coming in 2016

False manifestations with mind numbing and emotion suppressant powers will be delivered by new false prophets in the next wave of sensuous spiritualism. This next false awakening will be allowed by God to pull in and seal the fate of weak and false Christians who refuse to embrace the truth—believers who prefer the emotional pleasures of false spiritualism.

God is allowing a strong delusion to come upon spiritually-sensuous Christians who are addicted to happy feelings and the pleasures of the carnal life. Few Christians have given up love for this world and learned to walk in the joy of the Lord abiding in the unseen kingdom of God.

And now Satan is about to be allowed to present the biggest counterfeit movement to date—to fall upon a multitude of Evangelical, Charismatic, and Pentecostal Christians. All this because God’s people refuse to embrace the Spirit of Truth and grow up into the true Christ. This next false wave will be in direct conflict with God’s final call upon a sleeping end-time church. This counterfeit movement will try to overshadow and drown out the coming true and final move of God—the soon to come midnight cry awakening.

God will not Force Feed Truth Upon His People

God’s people the Jews wanted proof concerning the Lordship of Christ before they believed, and they continually looked for a sign on the spectacular level to test Christ. Jesus sighed deeply in his spirit and refused their demands saying, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly, I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation” (Mark 8:12).

On the same vein, God’s people today are looking for signs and wonders before they believe. And God is allowing this last generation of Christians to get what they are lusting after. Another wave of false prophets is coming to mislead more carnal and false believers by performing signs and wonders that come to pass on an artificial level. The false are glorified while servants of Christ who bring true but hard messages and warnings are ignored and even demonized. A battle between the true and the false is coming, much like the war of signs and wonders between the Pharaoh’s court magicians and Moses.

No clear sign from heaven will be given to dispel unbelief for an evil and adulterous last days generation. Rather, God is sending a strong delusion, “so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” Yet, true servants of God are coming with the message of the coming bridegroom—they will have signs follow them, but only promote the coming Christ and how to endure the coming Great Tribulation.

For the sincere believer who desires to embrace the true Christ as an obedient servant, these words of Christ will be honored, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!” (Matthew 7:7-11).

The Only Way to Discern the Last Days Great Lie by the Activity of Satan

Indeed, if the sincere asks, seeks, and knocks for personal revelation of the true Christ and the true Holy Spirit—that encounter with the living God will surely come to pass. For Christ says to us all, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me” (John 14:23-24).

And God himself will deliver his own out of the hands of the evil one and protect them during the coming terrible-horrific times leading to Christ’s appearance.

The End will not be at Once

Avoiding the Blood Moon, Harbinger, and Shemitah Panic

end-timesMost Christians are still hesitant to declare that the end-of-this-age is upon us; however, there are many who are seeing Biblical end time signs coming to pass at an alarming rate and are beginning to panic.

Current events and recently published books describing patterns of judgments from history and from the Scriptures are stirring many to anticipate the end to be within a matter of months, even days.

Few today are searching Scripture and seeking God’s direction in order to comprehend what Christ taught concerning the times that are now upon us and how to become ready. Those announcing that something is about to happen are missing God’s purposes for these events. As many study and speculate, few allow Christ’s words to take precedent in their interpretations. There is only one correct scenario for the end of this age, the one that Christ taught.

“From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near.  So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.  But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come” (Mark 13:28-33).

Here are more important words of Christ concerning the end, “See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them.  And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once (Luke 21:8-9).

You will know the Season, but no one will know the Day, Hour, Month or Year

We are in the generation that will experience the end of this age and the signs that Christ spoke of are pointing to His return to be in the very near future, indeed Christ second coming is at the very gates. This understanding should have been embraced by all Christians back in the 90’s, if not earlier. Yet today, in spite of the mounting evidence in the fulfillment of Christ’s words, most of God’s people are paralyzed.

Christians are continually swayed by all the different false interpretations and conjectures by most leaders on how the end will play out. Few see for themselves the truth and shake themselves to stay awake, for Jesus said, “And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake” (Mark 13:37).

As some Christians are beginning to realize that this is the season of Christ second coming, many are pointing to time frames for possible disastrous events to take place, such as a great economic collapse, the overthrow of the American constitution, earth quakes, marshal law, nuclear war, or an attack on Israel that will be devastating. Many set dates, months or a year as to when these events will unfold.

Jesus addressed these trying and anxious times by stating, “It is like a man going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants in charge, each with his work, and commands the doorkeeper to stay awake. Therefore stay awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning—lest he come suddenly and find you asleep.  And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake” (Mark 13:34-37).

Israel Alone in the World and Christians Hated by the World

As for the period of time that is now upon us (the season), we see what Jesus said would happen in Matthew 24 and other related passages. Wars, tumults, persecution of Christians, great fear upon the whole world, vexing immorality, and Israel as a people and as a nation no longer trampled upon by the nations of the world. Of the Jews, Jesus foretold, “They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled (Luke 21:24).

The times of the Gentiles are now coming to an end, because the nation of Israel was planted and continues to grow, where Jews worldwide are returning from their centuries of captivity to their own land. Now the whole world is set against the security and welfare of Israel as her enemies boldly proclaim annihilation for all Jews.

God has protected the nation of Israel since its foundation in 1948 and will continue right up to the day of Armageddon and beyond. Stop worrying about Israel, it is the condition of God’s people, the Christian that should be of real concern, for soon most Christians will be trampled upon.

Yes, hatred and persecution for believers has begun, for Christ warned us, “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet(Matthew 5:13).

Christianity has turned into churchianity, full of hypocrisy and corruption, and most seemingly on fire churches are in love with this world, prospering yet lukewarm. God’s people are bumbling and stumbling as the world is busy throwing Christians under the bus and trampling upon their religious rights.

Christians can expect more insane persecution, hatred, and death throughout the world as hatred towards Christians continues to increase, and now even in America. The massacre of college students in Roseburg Oregon recently demonstrates the increasing waves of persecution in the United States. In this mass killing spree the gunman singled out those who were Christian and summarily executed each—shooting those who professed Christ in the head at pointblank range.

Soon it will miserable for Christians in America, at least for those who still genuinely confess Christ. This trend in persecution is following these words of Christ:

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.

The Only Good News—the Coming Kingdom

In above passage Christ lays out a portion of his scenario (the correct scenario) concerning how the end will unfold. Following the event sequencing in this chapter we can clearly see where the world and Christians are in the end-of-this-age event line. (The end-of-the-age is not a time line that one should try to calculate, but rather the sequencing of events, where the time between each event is orchestrated by Father God—and only He knows the timing and durations between each event, including Christ’s return.) However, in these events we see a pattern of turmoil and tragedy growing exponentially with intensity and frequency.

Some of Father God’s purposes in the seemingly long and sporadic time-line between these events is to wake up His people in time, to raise up His true messengers, and to clean house. Again, the length of time between these end-of-the-age events are becoming shorter and shorter, like the pangs in child birthing.

In the end-of-the-age event sequencing, we are approaching mass persecution towards Christians that will facilitate a great falling away of the false Christian, leaving a true and faithful core of believers who will suffer and endure to the end—who will be part of the final testimony to the whole world concerning the coming kingdom of God.

Yes the Gospel of Christ has spread worldwide, but because of the weak testimony of God’s people, the world treats Christianity like any other religion. However, after the coming persecution and house cleaning of Christ’s church, a powerful message will arise from a remnant of true believers. When the smoke clears from the soon to come pressured falling away, God will herald with great force the good news of the coming Kingdom (the preaching of Christ’s scenario concerning the end of this age). And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come!

And then the End will Come!

This soon to come great and powerful awakening and testimony by the true Church of Jesus Christ is what will signify the start of the end. Towards the end of this announcement period of the coming kingdom, the anti-Christ will appear and the Great Tribulation will begin, where every kind of disaster will occur almost simultaneously, forcing the world to embrace a new world order to the save the day. And with this coming upheaval the end will finally come with the Great Tribulation harvest of souls that will culminate in the rescue of the saints (the rapture) at the end of the Great Tribulation period.

This period of time (the Great Tribulation) will be cut short by God himself, as Jesus said in this passage: “And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short” (Matthew 24:22). So stop listening to lengths of time and time-date calculations. The purpose is the harvest souls for the kingdom of God—so let’s get down to business and do God’s will and become ready.

“Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?”  I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (Revelation 7:13-14).

Again, stop looking at dates and time frames and look to Christ’s words concerning the events that are now taking place. The end has been in the making for some time and will not come at once. As a ministry we see the hour approaching and we are praying for more time to get ready, which is at Father God’s prerogative.

If one knows the end is looming then one will take Christ’s words to heart, “what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake!”

“But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap.  For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth.  But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:34-36).

This message is blunt and to the point. There is no time to soften what must written to help awaken God’s people from their destructive-drunken stupor. Most Christians are intoxicated with the pleasures of this life, the love of money, and socializing as they play church. God’s people are not prepared to victoriously endure the coming dark and destructive days leading to Christ’s return.

Christ’s and the Apostle’s words concerning the end-of-this-age must be embraced in clarity—they are not to be tampered with. And tampering has been the popular approach in preaching and writing about the end-of-this-age and current condition of God’s people as we approach creation’s darkest hour.

This warning stems from years of study, ministry, and the discipline in the Lord. Our ministry message appeals to the sincere believer who is tired of being deceived and played. Like the Apostle Paul’s expressed intent, this message also is not given to appease, solicit funds, or pander:

“For our appeal does not spring from error or impurity or any attempt to deceive, but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts. For we never came with words of flattery, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed—God is witness. Nor did we seek glory from people” (1 Thessalonians 2:3-6).

Therefore, the whole counsel of God is presented in this volume to jolt God’s people awake, an exhortation upon each reader to break their own personal apathy and become serious about serving Christ. Each of us must be prepared by His discipline for the coming hour. Those who have an ear let them hear what the Spirit is saying to God’s people.

Many on-fire Christians will not be prepared to endure the coming dark hour, falling prey to Satan’s deceptive work upon the world.

Of this hour, Christ warned: “But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap.  For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:34-36).

Chapter 1

Fulfillment of the Times of the Gentiles

America is no longer the Apple of God’s Eye

Christians must understand what is happening to America and why this nation is plunging into darkness, losing its long history of being blessed and protected by God.

A shift in emphasis upon all nations of the world is taking place, where the nation of Israel and religious conflicts are now the focus for the world’s woes. Soon the nation of Israel will become the center of God’s attention as America continues to slip into internal chaos, becoming paralyzed in affecting the world’s affairs as the nation heads for judgment.

Jesus explained that this sudden end-of-the-age shift will take place when the nation of Israel is restored. Christ speaks of how God’s people (the Jews and the nation of Israel) will be decimated, and then reestablished: “They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. ‘And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near’” (Luke 21:24-28).

Those centuries of captivity for the Jews came to an end in 1948 when Israel became a nation in the heart of the Middle East and then the great Jewish exodus began. Jews from all over the world are still pouring into the nation of Israel, signifying the fulfillment of Christ’s prediction, where the times of the Gentiles are coming to an end.

In 1967, Israel gained control of the city of Jerusalem in the Six-Day War, though there is still in an ongoing heated dispute with Palestinians over Jerusalem and the site of the temple. During its long history, Jerusalem has been destroyed twice, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times, and captured and recaptured 44 times.

The old city of Jerusalem is the site of the Jewish Temple Mount, where the Jewish Temple once stood before it was destroyed by the Romans some forty years after Christ predicted its destruction. Now, on the Temple ruins stands the Islamic Dome of the Rock shrine. A quasi peaceful standoff has been reached over control and use of the temple mound, where part of the Jewish old temple mount called the Wailing Wall is used by the Jews for worship.

The times of the Gentiles (the rule of non-Jewish peoples over the Jews) is ending. The fulfillment of Christ’s prophesies concerning the end-of-this-age is being demonstrated almost daily as Israel becomes the center of worldwide contention and a major reason for the distress affecting all nations.

Because of Israel’s existence as a nation, the world is crashing into chaos and the mounting troubles are becoming so unnerving, peoples of the world will soon become paralyzed with fear—for Scripture tells us the current chaos and trouble will get much worse.

Christ foretold that his imminent return would be at a time when Jerusalem was no longer controlled by the Gentiles. This and other signs of Christ’s return are bursting forth every day, yet most Christians in America refuse to acknowledge that America’s institutions and culture has gone pagan and its position of worldwide influence is coming to a screeching halt.

Historically the US has been a staunch defender of Israel; however, America is rapidly changing its position in supporting Israel, and also rapidly becoming less and less a credible broker for peace in the world and protector of the nation of Israel.

America was never excluded from Christ’s predictions concerning the distress of the nations or the end-of-this-age worldwide moral depravity. Just as Christ predicted America is falling headlong into confusion, immorality, lawlessness and is now besieged by a continuous stream of bewildering problems.

All the nations of the world are being stressed, perplexed, and internally filled with chaos as terrorism, religious wars, and the earth careens in upheaval after upheaval, and a worldwide culture of wickedness grows exponentially.

All these things are what Christ warned about, thus: “Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near’”

The End of the Church Age

Like the Temple, the Physical-Institutionalized Church is coming to its End

At the time that Christ came to the Jews, the temple worship system had again become corrupt. The chief priest and most in leadership became so arrogant and self-righteous that in their religious pride they became hardened beyond reach. Temple leadership rejected the living Christ even in the face of miracle after miracle and the obvious fulfillment of all prophesies concerning Christ’s first coming.

Those in leadership knew Scripture inside and out, yet because of jealousy, greed, and love for recognition they refused to recognize Jesus as the Christ—thus, in the end they led the Jewish nation to reject their Savior. “He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him” (John 1:1).

By following their corrupt leaders, God’s people rejected Christ and his teachings—and in this they also rejected God, thus incurring the loss of God’s blessings and His protection. Again, as quoted earlier, Jesus prophesied concerning Israel, “They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles. (Luke 21:24). Christ referred to those days, as days of vengeance against the people of Israel.

Jesus also revealed what would be the condition of God’s people (Christians) when the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. He warned the following: ….  end of sample
