America—Gone Beyond

Learn to Abide in a Kingdom that Can’t be Shaken   By Charles Pretlow 08/15/2019

“Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:28-29).

The first installment of the Midnight Cry Blog was entitled:

Not Be At Once, End of the Age Progression: Will it awaken you or lull you? Published five years ago on August 20, 2014.

This first Midnight Cry Blog began as follows:

It seems like the world keeps on going as it continues to unravel. Most of the flash points of Christ’s return and the end of this age seem to be popping up, then going away, then another pops up, then goes away.

In Luke 21:5-26, Jesus describes the progression of the end of this age to come in stages, as He states, “And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once” (Luke 21:9).

The point that I would like to expound upon is, but the end will not be at once. Jesus is explaining to his disciples and to us the progression of end-time indicators that include the destruction of the temple, the fall of Jerusalem, then the coming of false prophets misleading many saying, “The time is at hand,” and then Christ adds that all nations will become distressed and perplexed with all the trouble coming upon the world. The progression will hit a pitch or crescendo that will cause great fear, as the age of the gentiles ends.

Five Years Later

Since that first blog, five years ago, take a moment to contemplate all that has taken place since. Major signs of the end of this age are not so random and intermittent but are now nearing a non-stop fevered pitch of intensity and frequency.

We are now moving towards intense persecution and extreme hatred by the American liberal populace towards Christians and Jews—just as Jesus warned: “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:9-14).

Nothing but Continuous Bad News

Along with all the other flash points, America and its sleeping Church has passed the point of no return. America has gone beyond God’s reach! There is nothing on the horizon except more bad news.

America and Churchianity [1] have gone beyond restoration. Yet, most Christians are still clinging to hope in the Trump administration and the call for prayer and repentance—believing that God will make America great again.

This nation and countries of the world are facing great perplexities and extreme pressure to get all the troubles straightened out. Soon the whole world will cry for a world leader to solve the global threats now piling up in the form of; nature recoiling with monstrous storms, heat waves, droughts, famine, disease, refugees, corruption, war, nuclear annihilation, and a soon to come global economic collapse.

God is allowing the god of this world (Satan) to push the world into chaos, lawlessness and hatred towards the Jew and the true Christian in order to usher in the antichrist rule. Many carnal and superficial Christians are about to fall away by this soon to come persecution and jump on board the antichrist bandwagon. In allowing this, God is vetting his Church, to separate the false from the true. Jesus said of this coming hour of persecution: “But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”

When the Great Tribulation starts, the deception brought on by false prophets and the antichrist will be far worse than it is now and will overwhelm the unprepared believer. “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect” (Matthew 24:21-24).

Learning to Walk in the Kingdom of God Now

In Order to be Part of the Coming Physical Kingdom of God

How will the sincere Christian have strength of faith to keep hope and endure to the end? By knowing and embracing the reality of the physical coming of the kingdom of God. However, while we are battling and waiting in this dispensation for the coming kingdom, Christians are to become cleansed and transformed in order to walk in the invisible kingdom of God now. Unfortunately, many are deceived into believing they are abiding in Christ and walking in the invisible kingdom of God, when the opposite is true.

Many on fire Christians are taught to abide in the kingdom of God on earth forcibly through self-driven spiritual power generated by the powers of their own spirit. They walk in counterfeit spiritualism and develop a self-made Christian persona to suppress the old nature. These learn to avoid the work of the cross that crucifies the works of the flesh with its passions and desires. The deceived Christian often walks in a mixture of the old covenant legalism and self-religious empowerment, mixed with Christ’s easier teachings.

Many believers are taught to walk in what I call a John the Baptist faith. “Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John, and if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah who is to come. He who has ears to hear, let him hear” (Matthew 11:11-15).

These believers learn to suppress the works of the flesh religiously, following positive thinking mantras and religious formulas, and many seek empty spiritualistic manifestations, that amount to taking spiritual Prozac.

Purifying and Healing God’s Wounded that they may Walk in the Invisible Kingdom

This soon to come global shaking will shake awake the sincere Christian who is currently deceived. The Midnight Cry is about to heard as it travels like a testimonial shock wave to all the nations of the world. The core message is the gospel (good news) of the coming kingdom.

God is about to call to active duty his waiting army of bondservants. Seemingly, out of nowhere unknown ministries will arise and speak God’s truth of the coming physical kingdom and how to become ready to take part of its coming, by enduring to the end to be saved.

Many of these true last days ministries will emphasize biblical principles on how to become ready to endure and receive the coming Christ and his kingdom when it physically come on earth.

MC Global Ministries is called to give the whole counsel of God concerning His discipline that transforms the inner person to be genuine in Christlike character, and how to work with God and be healed of deep wounds to the spirit, restore damaged emotions and heal double mindedness, and to become strong in Christ—that God’s wounded may endure to the end and also be saved.

Are You Fatigued in Hearing These Warnings?

This ministry has been warning for quite some time. For me, it began in 1974 when I read David Wilkerson’s book “The Vision.” The notion at that time, at least for many including myself was that we might have ten to fifteen years to get ready before all hell brakes lose upon America and the Church.

At that time there was much confusion about how the end of this age will unfold, particularly when will the rapture occur. The Lord showed me specifically that great trouble would come before the rapture; however, the true Christian would be spared the coming wrath of God.

But because, I like others ignored Christ warning that, the end will not be at once like so many, I fell asleep. Then I fell for the lie that rapture would come before the Great Tribulation, primarily due to the book, The Late Great Planet Earth by Hal Lindsey, and the Left Behind series of books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins.

Because of the delay and because of my own woundedness as a new believer, I walked away from the call for about eight years—not unlike Jonah running from God’s call to warn Nineveh. There is more to my running away, but there is not enough space to share in this post, but in the end, I came back to fulltime ministry in June of 1988.

Then in 1997, Christ’s words hit me like a ton of bricks: “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And then he will send out the angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven (Mark 13:24-27).

Just knowing that we must endure the coming Great Tribulation does not prepare one to be able to endure to the end. Rather, we must give God permission to discipline us and show us if we are trusting in own wisdom and strength, or if there are wounds and defilements that bear roots of bitterness and unbelief. Study Hebrews chapter 12 and James 4:6-10.

Look for another Overcomers Journal blog coming soon that will instruct more on God’s recovery program.

[1] Churchianity: Any practices of Christianity that are viewed as placing a larger emphasis on the habits of church life or the institutional traditions of the church than on theology and spiritual teachings and growing in a true and lively relationship with Christ; The quality of being too church-focused and following or idolizing leadership over the personal leadership of the Holy Spirit and the lordship of Jesus Christ. Practicing false holiness and walking in self-righteousness instead of obtaining the grace of God for all of life. Following Christ to receive earthly blessings and the abundant life on earth instead of living the beatitudes as Christ described.
